Too soon...

I can't remember who was on Jones on his play (maybe Sherman), but that was egregious defensive holding until the throw was made. So it should have been 1st and half the distance at the worst. But yeah. I didn't play Jones, but I am gonna hold on to him for his 4-6 targets, where at least 3 are in the end zone

I don't think it was Sherman he usually only plays on the other side of the field, it was definitely a missed call though. The trick will be knowing when to play him, choose correctly and its a big payoff for sure.

You would think Jones had a lot more than one catch with all the talk in this thread.

Remember when Larry Donnell was the Giants' "TD guy" for two weeks? Lol this should be fun

If you watched the game, it was pretty obvious who Rodgers looked to on every redzone trip. Jones had 1 catch (a TD), was an inch away from his 2nd TD and was targeted in the endzone for a 3rd that was called back. The redzone targets go, in order, 1a/1b Cobb/Jones, 3 Rodgers, 4 Adams.

But hey, I'm arguing with a person that expects Rodgers will go for 40 passing TDs, a feat he's only accomplished once in his career. And that he'll do it all without his best WR and with a superior run game to that one season.
