The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Disney+)

Well, superheroes will never happen. Why do we need realistic references to racism in a fictional show about comic book characters? I agree it was stupid no matter how real it is. I don't need to see racism shoved in my superhero entertainment to know that stuff happens. It was very very cliche at that. I ask, did it add any value to the episode?
Did you get mad about the Nazis?

I did like the way they introduced Walker taking the serum. I mean you know it was going to happen, but when he kicked the dude down the stairs and then bent the pipe around the guy's arms and the guy said 'Oh s***!", I actually liked how that played out.

I also now believe Bucky has been holding back, because at times you could tell when he wanted to "turn it on" he could.

I thought they would reveal he had already taken it but I do think I this method worked better.

Also watched First Avenger this weekend. Erksein emphasized the serum didn’t just make you physically stronger. It amplifies everything about you. It’s something no one else in the program seemed to understand. Someone like Steve with his moral integrity would be inhabited while someone aggressive like Walker would be enhanced as well.

Kinda goes to Zemos point too. The power of the serum would corrupt the worst aspects of those who take it. It

Remember that serum and the power it gave Rogers was much more intensive than the synthesized booster shots Bucky and everybody else received. Died with the creator.

The new one that US agent took is more enhanced and you can just shoot it in you Steve had to get in the machine and it made him bigger the one US Agent took doesn't change your appearance.

This new stuff will lead to wolverine and red hulk Deadpool also but I heard they are going to act like Deadpool was in the MCU this hole time.

I wasn’t an avid comic reader when US Agent, War Machine et al were introduced, but in what I did read, new Super Soldier serums were watered down versions and the original Captain America was much more enhanced. I know those aren’t canon for new MCU content, but it would be more plausible if we’re even pretending the science.

Good episode with both action and character development. Was expecting a flashback of Isiah Bradley and WS battling.

I love Falcon's character development. But I have to say John Walker or the actor (Wyatt) has done a pretty damn good acting job. He's stolen the show imo.
He's by far a more gravitating figure than the main villain Karli Morganwhatever...
I almost forger about her until her scenes pop up, and then I'm reminded.

I like the episode but I guess I'm just going to have to start ignoring all talk about these shows beforehand. I avoided spoilers but then I'm told of this awesome cameo of a Marvel character and while I'm a fan of
Julia Louis-Dreyfus
I was just clueless as to who this was, though apparently
her character was supposed to have been introduced in Black Widow first
. Even though I didn't read thes spoiler I was setting myself up for a surprise and it was like wait that was it?

I started watching the Q Anon Docuseries on HBO Max the other night. After the first couple interviews with followers, listening to them connect imaginary dots, I started thinking this must be how MCU rumor mongers/prognosticators live their life too.

Yeah, it’s best to just ignore them and enjoy the show.

No she was SHIELD agent and love interest for Nick Fury.

Solid finale. Sam’s costume is one of the most comic accurate to date.

Left scratching my head about Sharron though. They are really distorting her character from the comics.

Yeah I don't like how they did the spoiler

And I thought she was the US Agent but she was working for Hydra and that's one of the reasons Fury has trust issues.
