So not only did Ohio State not fall below Tennessee but by some miracle of Christ, Georgia ROSE in the rankings after an 8 overtime win to an unranked team at home. I think this was on purpose to screw Tennessee out of any chance to host a game.

Maybe I'm wrong but here's the only possible way it happens now ..

Unless Georgia or Penn St lose by 30 or more points.

This bodes terribly for UT. Tennessee hasn't beat a top 10 team on the road since 2006, 19 seasons let alone a game as crazy huge as a playoff game at someone else's home field.

A real shame.

Nah, horse trading going on behind the scenes right now. Big Ten wanted Ohio State in with a home game, sec wanted Bama to get in. One SEC program will get a home game after championship weekend. Probably will be either Tenn or Texas if they lose to Georgia; if Georgia loses they’re going to be a road team. Committee and the two power conferences have the teams they want in now it’s going to be about setting up matchups.

Goodness, man, get a grip on yourself. That’s some of the worst defeatism I’ve seen. Vols would have a great chance against OSU no matter where they played.

I’m not sure why you are surprised as UGA did win and OSU has an equivalent record as us. Also, pretty defeatist attitude as to win anything we have to start beating teams ranked highly on the road. Bring on OSU at the Shoe as they really looked pretty awful this season except for the Indiana game.

You guys are so weak. Afraid of even the least competition. I'm personally excited to see us play at Ohio State (a venue we've never played at). And I'm expecting us to win.
Not afraid at all Buckeyes getting a whoooping either way . But a Vols home playoff game would be off the chain and they know it lol . And Buckeyes have done nothing to be ranked above the Vols they lost at home to an unranked team .

Wouldn’t be surprised if Oregon boat races Penn State. Still some room for chaos in the CFP rankings.

They wont drop PSU that far.

If Georgia loses by multiple scores to Texas, could the Michigan AD give a big FU to Ohio State and make OSU 7 and UGA 10 making us and IU the 8-9...

This would keep UGA, Texas, and Bama all on 1 side of the bracket...

Jesus dude, find some joy. That is loser mentality and defeatist attitude. Not everything happens because "the fix is in" if the committee wanted to hose the SEC they would have put Miami in and left Bama out. To say everyone out there has a bias against UT is extremely egotistical, maybe to a point of unhealthy
