1. Potentially program changing win. Top 10 SEC opponent on the road? That was huge. This team now has a chance for a tourney bid.

2. Jeronne Maymon was the best player on the floor tonight. That's dominating the paint. Great job by Mr. Maymon.

3. Kenny Hall was very active. That was two straight good games from him, probably the first time in his career. Nice to see that.

4. Trae Golden was a leader today. Just a leader. That's exactly what you want from a point guard. 9-11 from the line too.

5. Love the four guard lineup look today. Really helped with the press and spread Florida out to clear the room for Maymon. Great call by Coach Martin.

6. Jarnell has hit a wall. It happens to everyone, and he's nursing an injury. He'll fight through it and get better as the year goes along.

7. Tennessee did a great job handling the press. They refused to play Florida's game, and it showed. That's a great job by the guards.

8. Hey, Florida...we own you :)

9. Coach Martin has led this team through a lot, and he's done an incredible job. I'm just really impressed with the progress of this team. I could not imagine this happening two months ago. I'm really proud to have him as a representative of the University of Tennessee, proud to follow this team as they have never quit, and proud to be a Tennessee Volunteer.

It's great to be a Tennessee Volunteer!!!

Big win! I'm not buying they're a NCAA team though. Would be elated if they did, but they are just too erratic.

So impressed with this team right now. Everyone is really learning their role, and not trying to do too much.

I agree, for some reason felt comfortable with Kenny on the court tonight. Proud of the teams effort.GBO!

I agree with your final point especially. This is a different team than it was two months ago. The defense is night and day. We look like a different team defensively. Never expected that turnaround. We still look like the team that was picked 11th at times (especially on the road prior to today), but this game hopefully instilled some road confidence. Taken into account the fact we are getting better and our schedule is getting easier, we could make a little noise. Still not ready to put this team in the dance, but today was a BIG step in the right direction. 5-1 down the stretch and we may be in business on that bubble.

On the negative, bad FT shooting (thankfully negated by UF's bad FT shooting), and Richardson really looked like a freshman today.

Don't think we are either yet, but man, we sure looked good today.

I'm just really proud of them. That's such a tough game, and they pulled it out. It's quite simple. Tennessee was tougher than Florida physically and mentally, and that's why we won.

Richardson actually didn't play to bad, but yes I would agree with the FT shooting. Golden bailed us out.

I still don't think this is a NCAA team, but this was the most complete game we've played all year. I thought we played really well against Fla at home, but our offense was much better today. Only negative was our foul shooting. It was horrible.

If you would've told me we would beat Fla's ass down on the road with Stokes playing limited minutes, I would've said you were crazy.

Fantastic win. Maybe these guys are getting it. Only player that played bad was Tatum to me. He has been in a funk the last few weeks.

Agree. I'm right there with you. Florida was undefeated at home this year. That's saying a lot. That's a tough arena to go in and get your first road win of the season in February.

Florida guards had difficult time getting back after the vols beat the initial trap. This allowed the vols to get the ball to the rim. The gator big guys allowed themselves to be pushed around on both ends, especially Murphy. I know he hit some late threes but he really struggled. The vols switched every screen he set and that matched him up with Golden and Mcbee often, he was unable to do anything.

Very nice win, it was nice seeing the gators wilt from a beating.

These guys are playing as just a team right now. There is no one person trying to be a star. All guys are finding their roles and starting to excel at them. Very impressed with this team and Coach Martin.

Haven't read all the post's, but this is a signature win for CCM! I think this speaks highly of where he wants to take this program! Nice win! #7 Gators looke like a HS team up against a defensive protoge!

Big props to Pornstache. He had been abused by athletic SEC guards and played very good today. Hit some huge 3's in the 1st half and made some good defensive plays.

Our players might be getting the method to Martin's coaching right about now.
