That was early in the season and We were their biggest win all season, They are barely beating teams like St johns and UConn now and lost to both those teams during the regular season plus a loss to Creighton...They aren't scary...They just got us early before we figured out everything.Did you watch our last game against NOVA?
We beat Arizona, Lead from start to finish and were on the verge of a blowout until we hit one of our famous scoring droughts...They don't match up well with us that much is clear...We are way faster than them too.I don't agree. We did get soft matchups for the first 2 rounds, but Villanova and Arizona are no joke.
This team had zero identity and no chemistry on offense at that time. Barnes has them playing as a unit, Chandler/ZZ are not playing like freshman, Vescovi is a Jedi now, and JJJ is the Alpha leader that had been missing….with ZZ/Plasvic right behind him.Did you watch our last game against NOVA?
Forget Kentucky-- look at Duke's resume compared to ours.
Duke would deserve a 2-seed over Kentucky all day. Not to mention, Duke beat Kentucky head-to-head. I don't have near the issue with Duke, a team we haven't played and not in our conference, being a 2 over us as I do Kentucky, who we beat 2/3 and didn't win their conference regular season or tournament.
One sees how the committee uses a certain narrative from one year to justify their seedings and then a entirely differently language the next year. Its all just a way to provide cover for their choosing to pay homage to the blue-bloods or inside pals with connections. Auburn was gifted the draw meant for us actually, but I can't imagine how Pearl had any inside juice with anyone. I'd say this error was just incompetence on the committee's part.Agreed. It’s corrupt. You cannot make any argument for Kentucky or Duke over us accept branding. Money. If that’s the justification, fine. But, be honest about it. Don’t make up some BS about pecking order and head-to-heads not mattering.
