It was an incredible shot, but I have a hard time believing he was aiming at that flag with a 1 shot lead.

Faldo said he probably did aim there with that cut swing and just hit it dead solid.

Love those hybrids.

Could he even see the flag behind the trees? Tigers saturday strategy came back and bit him in the rear on sunday.

Really? He crushed the field average on Sat. He would never have imagined putting like Funk on Sunday.

Yang chipping in for eagle on him gave him a bit of his own meds.

He wasn't playing against the field average though. He played too conservatively and the 2 stoke step back hurt him. I agree that he putted like crap, but even Yang missed a few-Tiger had plenty of chances.

I just don't think he was that conservative Sat. He just didn't have many realistic makes. Wind was a ***** out there, it appeared.

You could tell it was driving Tiger nuts. I can't ever remember seeing him throw more grass in the air. Whether it was inconsistent ball striking or just pulling the wrong club, Tiger's distance control just wasn't there.

I would imagine that distance control in the wind is the hardest thing to get back. What is the deal with Tiger not being able to hit a cut with an iron? Is it just because they've worked so hard to eliminate the error shot right with the driver that he can't pull off the fade anymore?

This was probably long covered, but the look on Tiger's face after Yang hit the putt on 18 was priceless. Was he pissed about the celebration?

I'm a fan of Tiger, but it's annoying how his fans seem to only cheer his shots. Yang hit two excellent shots there at the end that got claps from maybe half the crowd (on TV at least).

Come on . . . That crowd went nuts on his approach to 18.

As for Tiger's reaction, I'd say that was just pure dejection. He knew it was over the second he didn't pull off a miracle chip in.

I also think he was waiting on Yang to go get his ball out of the hole so he could finish and get out of there. It was kind of a "come on rookie" smirk

That was kind of funny to watch. I was wondering how long it was going to take for him to remember that Tiger still had to putt out.

No big deal, but he probably should have let Tiger go ahead and putt first.

Tiger got beat by a better player!!!!!! (for one week......Y.E. was better). Tiger did NOT choke. You have to be GOOD enough to choke away an event before you comment on that!!!!

He is still the best, but finally, he is human. This may be the best thing to happen to the PGA Tour since Tiger got on Tour.

i can comment on whatever i want whenever i want. just saying.

You are correct! You can comment on "whatever i want whenever i want".

SO CAN I...and the comment that ANYONE will win the Grand Slam ....is F'ING STUPID!!!!!!!!!

Tiger is not as good as he used to be....and he never did it before. The only thing he has going for him is this......the talent level is smaller. I wish him the best and hope he wins it..........He is the best player ever...but ...NO GRAND SLAM!

YE was not the better player, Tiger forgot how to read putts. If Tiger doesn't have 30+ putts in the final round it wouldn't have been close.

Tiger Woods got "Tiger'ed" with that chip. It'll most likely motivate him rather then send him into a a downward spiral where we view him as "human" and start talking about the pariety of the tour. It wouldnt surprise me if he has hit at least a couple buckets this morning at the casa.
