...and never bet with an old man who has named his putter.
you have just described both my father in law and his old college roommate.the adage went, be wary of the guy with farmer's tan who carries a one iron. You've just surpassed it with the named putter.
Fired a 76 today and all is well with the world. I was actually giving playing lessons to a friend of mine who is a beginner. It was the most that I have thought about every one of my shots in the last two years. Maybe I should slow down just a bit.
might look at the TP line of those or the tour model baffler from Cobra. Very few of them aren't heel weighted. The Bridgestone J33 is also neutrally weighted. I think the Sonartec MD hybrid is also neutral (that's why so many pros play it)
I still like the setup and pop of the Cleveland Halo, but jut can't play it because of the draw bias. Searched quite a bit for the neutral ones and found one that I can hit high but flat and can cut.I've got to do something. After the round I counted and I had 3 situations where I was playing a hybrid from the tee and not only did I miss the fairway, I missed the golf course.
OK guys please advise. I am looking for a hybrid to replace an old 5 wood. I generally hit it between 225 and 235. It has really been a wasted club in the bag for a while now. Hopefully it will be my father's day gift. Any suggestions?

It is a little deceptive because I hit my long irons well. That is one of the reasons I have held off to this point. On a good day I can hit my three iron 225 to 235. I hit my 3 wood 240 to 260 pretty consistently. I am looking for a rescue club that will give me a little more distance my three iron, with the possibility of more control. The only time I pull my 2 iron out of the bag is when I have a hooded hook to hit around trees.
