Can anyone give me any tips on getting the club face square at impact with the driver?
I either bomb it and it starts right and stays right. I don't slice, I seem to hit it with the club face open. Or I seem to slam to club face closed on basically duck hook the ball dead into the ground just a few yards off the tee and all I get is the roll and hope it stays in play.
Then every once in a while when I actually hit it I will get a little draw and it is long. My two bad scenarios just seem to go back and forth during a round.

The pro that taught me how to play always used to say that if people would just concentrate on gripping it right, aiming it right and finishing their swing, 50% of his business would be gone. Not real big on manipulating the clubface. A simple thought, though, is to think about the emblem (or back of your hand) facing the target and being square at impact. If your gripping the club correctly, then you've got half the battle kicked.
