I had to send my clubs back to Taylormade to be bent upright 2* and was hoping someone on here might have a time frame that I might get them back. Some people have told me two weeks, while others have told me four to six weeks......Nobody locally would bend them, so that's why I had to send them back to California. Thanks.
2 weeks seems pretty fast for the peak season but i have had a set adjusted by Ping and that was pretty close to the turn around time

I would probably call and ask Taylormade.

You mentioned that you have soft hands & I see that you are getting Golf Pride NDMC grips. That's not a good combination. The New Decade grips have cord & can very rough to soft hands. More you play the worst it is on the hands. I have em on mine & when they wear out (if they ever do) I'm going with something softer.

How did the guy measure your hand & what tool did they use?

Sounds like he needs to go to the Winn DriTac or Excel type grips.

Maybe some folks just don't understand that cabretta leather gloves don't last long in the hot summer months especially if you wear only one until its ruined. By rotating them they last much longer. Must be a hard concept for some to grasp. Maybe if I wore a rain glove or one of those synthetic dura fit deals I wouldn't have as many but those things feel like crap.

Just giving you a hard time. I'm usually able to use just one glove during a round, but if it's really hot or wet, I will rotate a couple. I know guys that burn through a lot of gloves, but I've always been pretty easy on gloves.

It's all good. I realized I left a lot of 4 I had ordered some time last year too. He gave me 2 of those nike dura feels instead of the dri fit & instead of doing return/exchange they just refunded all my money & told me to keep everything. I gave those 2 away to my friend & his son when we played a few months ago. I think the other 2 are in the rotation still.

been awhile since I lived in Knoxville, but can't believe you couldn't find someone to bend them for you
There was a really nice shop in Cedar Bluff

I can get over 25 rounds on a cabretta leather glove. In the hot summer I might go through 2 a round, but never five.

What irons do you have that no one will attempt to bend?

I don't go through them but to extend life & always have a dry fresh glove I just rotate every couple holes if needed. I'll strap the one I took off to the steering wheel or the frame & it's usually ready in a few holes if needed to use again. The next round I'll rotate a couple different ones.

liked the grips so much, an 18 hole match turned into 45. I haven't played more than 27 in several years.
And I feel like I've been at football practice.

I walk and take them off to chip and putt. I'll Velcro the one I'm using to the bag and it typically dries enough in those five minutes or so to be fine. After a round, I'll let it air dry, put it back on to retain the shape, then store it in a zip lock baggie til the next round.

So you like the grips?

Yes. And they built them up a little and it feels better. Tell you what though, I had a situation that cost me, but was a blessing.
I was +3 going into 16 on the first 18 with a 190 par 3. Its a nasty hole. One of the guys in my 4some is drunk and yells at another player across the water as I swing and I hit the ball @ 50 yards. I went back to my bag and smacked it with my 5 iron. Just a flip of the wrist.
So on the par 5 17, I reach in my bag and only my driver head and part of the shaft comes out. No problem, I will use my 3wood, but it is broken too. So I finish the last 2 holes which are 950 total yards with my hybrid.
However, my driver was a really old Cleveland. The clubhouse had a new Cleveland with an Orange head. One of the guys owed me some $ so I put it towards the driver.
The driver is awesome and when I don't hit it right, it still goes. When I hit it square, it was 15-20 yards longer.
I won't hit my bag like that anymore.

you just became the second guy I've ever heard of that broke his driver with it still in the bag. Happened to me a few years ago, and I didn't even do anything violent.

Played 8 holes yesterday. We were 2:15 into the round standing on the 9th tee with a group in front of us on the tee, one in the fairway and one on the green. Just couldn't take it anymore. For the life of me, I never understand why they don't tell people in the pro shop that they're serious about pace of play and not to take it personally if a Marshall asks them to let people through.

It was really just a little wrist flick from about 2 feet away. I felt like an idiot after, but pulling both clubheads out with a tiny broken shaft sent my playing partners to the ground laughing.
But oh my this driver. Its a Callaway razr fit xtreme, whatever that means. I was using a 6 yr old Cleveland ti launcher.

the difference in forgiveness between those drivers will blow your mind. Driver technology has probably improved in the past 5-7 years more than it had in the previous 25.

Anybody ever played the Heatherhurt Brae course at Fairfield Glade? I'm taking customers there next week and I've never seen the place.
