Ted Bishop was the head of the PGA of America. He tweeted in reaction to Ian Poulter's book where he whines about the 2008 Ryder Cup and called Poulter a "little girl". That was deemed as sexist and so egregious that he was fired.

Seems like there has to be more to the story.

that's ridiculous if it's all that was really said, but not surprising in this pc world. Hell, you can't admit a woman may have to work her swing around her boobs without getting in trouble.

Played a captain's choice tourney today. We were on an average par 4, one partner out drove me by about 5 yards. Left us about 90 yards. I hit last & nobody was within 20 feet. As soon as I hit hit it & watched it take off I knew it was pretty good. I bent down to pick up the tee that marked the shot & heard something pop the stick. It flew straight in the hole. Lol.

Weird day. There was a girl who hole out to double eagle. My friend in our group almost aced on a 130 yard par 3. Hit to within 6 inches, our 3rd to last hole. 2nd group behind us another friend hits &banks it off the closest to pin marker for an ace. Lol.

A friend gave me an old beat up Scotty Cameron teryllium Santa Fe Two putter so for s**** & gigs I'm gonna give it a go on a "restore". Got some before pics & where I'm at now. Not sure if I wanna nickel plate or black oxide.

Thanks. Still debating on a finish. I can do nickel and black oxide easily enough on my own. Contemplated powder coating but will have to outsource that. I did one quote at $50 and although that's not that much the putter isn't worth that. Also thought about torching it but that's not very durable and will have to be babied. We'll see. Might look for another quote on the powder coat.

if you can get the pitting evened out
what ever you decide will look good, I have a couple of black oxide, and just picked up a gun metal flow neck and it looks good

I'm about finished except for the paint fill. I didn't get all the dings out and really couldn't do too much on that top line without taking it down to a super thin level whereas it's already pretty thin. I probably should've dremeled it good and polished it up better overall but too late now. The elastomer is a pain but I finally got it pretty decent. I did a nickel plate that's used in an industrial setting so it's not exactly pretty but will be serviceable. Maybe I'm ocd but the shaft seems slightly bent, I'll look at and say it's good and then again and think it's bent. It's a flare tip and when I measure with my hand mic it's about.378 at the very end but that size isn't even an option. There is a .382 so not sure if that's it or if scotty used an odd custom size. May swing by golfsmith and see what they have or may just keep this one and use it anyway. Got a new grip too but I'll put that on last.
