I hit them yesterday. I'm sticking with my RBZ 3 Wood. There were 2 par 5's that I'm usually always on in 2 hitting driver/3 wood. I was short on both of them hitting the SLDR 3 Wood yesterday. The RBZ 3 wood is 3.5 years old and still 20 yards further than the sldr 3 wood.

Sounds like you need a new driver. I usually hit a mid iron into long par 5s.

I just got a new driver this past nov. I just probably don't have your distance off the tee. I prob average 275.

Anyways, another question, if I get new standard grips & get them triple taped how close will they be to midsize? Standard is a little small for me & midsize is a little big so I'm aiming for right in the middle.

That should be pretty close. However, if you only average 275 off the tee you may want to consider ladies grips.

Bought the Odyssey White Ice 2 Ball putter today. It's not the newest model, but I fell in love with it when I putted with it at the golf shop.

Those are good putters. I had the dfx 2-ball but sold it to a buddy. Kinda wish I hadn't. It was especially good on shorter putts because it was a breeze to line up and it was hard to make a bad stroke with it.

RIP Billy Casper, three time major winner and seventh in all time wins. The fourth great during golf's famed "Big Three" era. He was 83.

Casper is probably the most under-appreciated golfer of all-time. He had a higher win % than Arnold Palmer. My Dad just read his book, and I need to pick it up. Sounds fascinating.

RIP Billy Casper

On a happier note I had one of my better rounds in a long while today. 73 with 6 birds and under par on the back.

Read a bio on Billy Casper yesterday. He had 6 biological children, 5 adopted children and 71 Grandchildren

What... In your opinion... Is too cold to play?

Take the temperature and subtract the wind speed. If that number is below 43, stay in the clubhouse and order a drink.

Why 43? I've got no idea. But that's the number we chose several years ago right before we ordered a drink.

Yeah I use to be a trooper but mid 40s is the cutoff nowadays.

When I was younger, I played so many competitive rounds in bad weather that I just have zero desire to brave anything that I don't have to. I refuse to even own a rain suit. I don't like to wear more than one layer and frankly don't even like to play in long sleeves.

I hate sleeves even if it's a loose pullover. I hate pants too. I'll wear shorts if it's anything close to 60.
