So what gps do you guys use for yardage on the course? I'm thinking of getting my brother one as a gift.

I've used the Skydroid app on my phone at times. Personally, I'd rather have a nice rangefinder than a dedicated GPS device.

I have a Garmin Fenix 3 HR. Using it for golf is just a nice bonus. Seems to be very accurate. I've played with people using a range finder and it's been spot on.

Of course after I buy my set

Not used Gps but I just bought the Nikon cool shot 20. For 150 you can't beat it. Can give you multiple yaradage points quickly.

Outstanding finish for Russell Henley. Really didn't think he had a shot starting today 4 back.

Just read the (glowing) reviews, thanks for sharing. I've been toying with the idea of getting a laser but didn't want to spend $300-500. This looks like a perfect fit for me.

No problem. I took it out last weekend and tried it on the course for the first time. If your trying to pick up the flag stick i found the best way is to start to the left or right of the stick and pan across it. Whatever your lowest reading is will be your yardage to the flag. It was right on with my friends bushnell he was using.

TaylorMade is really trying to make a statement. Signed Rory for reportedly 100 million over 10 years. I think that now gives them the top 3 players in the world and 5 of the top 10 signed with TaylorMade. Wouldn't be surprised to see the cost of their new clubs being higher than the previous.

But yet Adidas is trying to sell off TM

Well I guess it's good that it sold instead of them just ending up shutting it down. What I don't understand is how golf equipment companies are having this much trouble and a company like PXG can possibly think they will survive putting the type of price thats on their clubs.

Doesn't make sense to me either.

I'll be interested to see if PXG lasts that long.

They sure look weird in the rack. The main thing I noticed is that the short irons feel really long. I guess one could get used to anything, but I would feel like choking up on the 8,9, and W.

Obviously gonna try them out first. I just think it'd be better for me.

So I may look into single length clubs

a co-worker went to Vegas this week, and his brother is letting him play his set of Cobra single length

His brother has had 'em, about 6 months, and doesn't like them. Says the 8 iron, 9 iron, PW don't fly as far..

I'll find out Friday how Jason likes them

I watch Peter Finch and Rick Shiels a lot on YouTube. Both PGA coaches out of the UK if you've never seen them. Finch is playing the one length irons or was recently and Shiels has a review of them I believe. Check it out.

That one amateur (is he a pro now?) really made this idea popular and I'm not going to lie I want to try it also

Bryson DeChambeau and yeah he turned pro and signed with Cobra that's the only reason they made a one length club.
