The Golf Thread

Played my best round since getting back into golf a couple years ago. Finally starting to dial it in from around 100 yards. Take away a couple bad holes and it might of been my best round ever.

Anybody walk very much? I'm going on a trip in August that will require me to walk about 4 rounds and I'm trying to figure out the all important shoe question.

I walk unless I'm forced to ride. Wear New Balance as they seem to fit my foot better and are a little more utilitarian feeling than a typical golf shoe

Not walked in a while.

Love my Footjoy Hyperflexes though. To me, socks are just as important.

How does it hit. I hit cobras the best and waswondering if they were worth upgrading if I could find a deal

I hit the Cobra, M2 and Ping G and they were all pretty close in the numbers I was getting. The cobras spin was just a little higher than the other 2 but with the adjustablilty of the cobra I can probably fix that. What separated it for me was the how much better I hit it off the deck. The rails on the bottom do seem to help, or maybe they just inspired more confidenced. Either way that's what sperated it for me.

Got a really good deal on a TaylorMade Spider Tour Black Dustin Johnson Edition. Haven't really got to test one out much, but figured I can easily get my money back at worst.

I stopped playing golf when I moved to Florida. Contrary to popular belief, golf here sucks.

Oh and Ricky Fowler's mom is smokin hot.

Played awful at graysburg today. Which it was my first time there and I was a little nervous playing with people I've never played with before. So hot tho just got tired more than anything.

How was Graysburg? I'm from that area and I love that course. But it can be tough, especially having never played it before. It's demanding on some tee shots, plus thick rough off the fairways make it easy to lose balls.

The course was gorgeous. It was a little tough but it was mostly me more than anything today. Greens were pretty quick but being close to 90 that was expected.

Well my picture posted sideways, but that was one of the few times I found myself in good shape today lol

I think several of the greens are pretty tricky. They have quite a bit of slope, and have some subtle (and not so subtle) breaks.
