I imagine the planning group was all on the same page for this convention when typically they are so consulted up they try to cram way to many themes/messages/images.

It always blows my mind when they give prime time slots to candidates’ spouses and stiff speakers.

The production is part of the story. The energy and optimism of the delegates is just as large of a component. This is something I haven’t seen since Reagan. The Republicans are now flushed with hope and that is infectious.

To be fair, I think his speech was supposed to highlight all that is wrong and how Trump will work to fix things. Unfortunately, that list takes a while to get through.
