Nightmare on Elm St - 7.4 (did he have a big role?)
Platoon - 8.2 (again, small role, not a star, right?)
Edward Scissorhands - 8.0 (agreed, great movie)
Ed Wood - 8.0 (never seen it)
Don Juan Demarco - 6.6
Donnie Brasco - 7.8 (I like)
Chocolat - 7.3
Blow - 7.5 (his best movie, IMO)
Once Upon a Time in Mexico - 6.3
Pirates - 8.0 (hate this movie)
The Libertine - 6.3
Sweeny Todd - 7.6
Public Enemies - 7.0 (couldn't stand Depp in that one)
Rango - 7.4

So 4 movies with an 8.0 rating (including Platoon).

Isn't Franco in his mid-thirties? Not all that young.

He's 34. Tatum is 32, Gordon-Levitt is 33. Eisenburg turns 29 this year.

For men, mid 30s is still pretty young in Hollywood; guys like Hanks didn't even get that big until they hit their 30s. Plus I'd argue the 30s of today skew younger than 30s in the past.

Jesse Eisenberg is terrible. His one-dimensional fashion is tiring. There is nothing subtle or layered about his acting at all.

Worked with him 6 days on Now you See Me. Nice guy, bad actor.

You left off Fear and Loathing on that list.

Is Jesse Eisenberg too old? Jonah Hill? Joseph Gordon-Levitt? (may not fit the context of what you're looking for) Girls included? Amber Heard, Emma Stone, Ellen Page and my personal "I don't know how she can miss" Chloe Grace Moretz.

I could see Jonah Hill growing into the next John Goodman.

I think calling him terrible and a bad actor is overstating but, up until this point, he's played every role the same way. He hasn't exactly shown much range so far, and I say that as someone who likes most of his movies.

On how many levels?

I don't know exactly what that means so I'm just going to say a number........ 7 I guess.

If your question is "why do you say that?" I think he killed it in Social Network. I realize he is a bit monotone and it feels like he's playing the same character in every movie, but the subtle differences you see in his personality between movies like Social Network and Zombieland are played very well by him
