The Grill and BBQ thread

Voted. You're making a comeback.

Go post this in the recruiting forum. We vote in polls all the time for Tennessee players and stuff. Post it in the RF football talk thread. It's pretty much off topic now anyway. Bet you could get a bunch of votes.

Edit:

Never mind, I did it for you.

Thank you!

Up by 5 in a really close vote. They will allow you to vote on different devices if you'd like vote again and help keep the lead. Thanks again for the support.

Yep, just voted again, on my phone.

Good luck. Dude must have a bunch of friends. I'm sure the pork lasagna is okay, but I would have voted for you even if you hadn't asked.

Thank you sir. I've posted in a couple of groups and am starting to get a little traction now.

Hey guys, I'm through to the second round in Traeger Grills' Meat Madness tournament. I'm in Bracket 2 in the Midwest. My name is Jeff Graham, and my opponent (who oddly enough has the same name) is stuffing the ballot box pretty effectively.

Here's the link: https://www.traegergrills.com/on/de...ShowBallot?contest=3b03e963ac346cfc900159e928
I'm the second contestant on the page (the one sitting at the bar).

My entry is Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Chicken Thighs. You can vote once for each browser on each device you have.

Thanks!

On a positive note I made pastrami for St Patrick's Day and it was awesome.

So I didn't win the Traeger Meat Madness cook-off but was really happy with the recipe I submitted. I can't say thanks enough to all my friends and family that not only voted but helped spread the word. I really appreciated the support from this group, thanks again everyone!

That stinks. I'm still in the contest. Have you seen the latest developments re: voting irregularities?

So this is pretty exciting, I submitted an original recipe for an Asian Paella and was selected for the Traeger Meat Madness Tournament. If you wouldn't mind taking a minute to vote it would be greatly appreciated. I'm just a backyard chef and I don't have 1000s of followers. I could really use the help of a grass roots movement and the support of Vol Nation! lol here.https://www.traegergrills.com/meatmadness-bracket?bracket=BracketTwo It's under Chris Cruit in the Western Division.

How about posting the recipe here? I can't access it via the bracket anymore.

6 pack o' beer can chickens on the Traeger. I know, the beer does nothing - other than give the can enough weight to hold the chicken upright. It just works.

And loving this 70º weather!

Anyone have a good fajita marinade recipe? I got a great deal on some flap steaks that need to go down this weekend!

1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
3 tablespoons brown sugar

Put all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth.

I have a country ham that I need to do something with. I raised the pig myself and did a salt brine combined with a long day in the smokehouse. What would you guys do with it? I'm wondering how a grilled ham on the Traeger would taste? Or maybe some kind of rub/sauce.
