The Grill and BBQ thread

OK...I made some St. Louis ribs this past weekend but didn't have access to an Egg, Smoker, or grill. I did them in the oven...thus no mention and no pics as that just isn't allowed on this forum! :)

With that said, I also didn't have time to make a sauce to glaze the ribs with so I went with the new Heinz Carolina Vinegar. In a pinch it will do. Actually, it's better than that. It reminds me a little of Ott's sauce from back in the day. Here's a pic:

Interesting! I've never seen that. I'll have to give it a try.

The weather spoiled my plans a little bit with the grilling aspect, so I cooked the steak in a cast iron skillet. Turned out very good still.

Carne Asada burrito w/ chunky guacamole pico de gallo and a Cilantro Lime sauce.

Got some grilled onions and hot pickles too... Oh my

I put that right up there with some of Cali's creations. Sometimes, the classics are hard to beat.

My wife has got me eating dogs again. We dress them up with homemade chili (Costco has some canned that will do in a pinch), slaw (she makes the best slaw I've ever had), chopped onions (will start grilling them, thanks), cheddar cheese, Wickles, cherry peppers, mayo, mustard and Red Hot.

If this rain let's up we're having hot dogs tonight!

We picked up some some hotdogs from our local meat counter and they were delicious! I also like to make a big batch of hot dog sauce to keep on hand.
