The Grill and BBQ thread

Beautifully done.

Thanks it has taken a while to perfect it. Finally my BIL who has a professional cook team taught me how to trim the ribs out properly. What a difference just trimming does. I will say anyone wanting some quality rubs needs to check out atlbbq store. The wicked Que sweet ga heat rub is fantastic.

I know I sound like I work for this company but here's an update on the Grillgrates.

I made some burgers on the flat side - basically like a flat top but with holes for the grease to escape. Puts a nice crust all over rather than just grill marks. Going to try some smash burgers next.

On the grate side I cooked some spicy Conecuh sausage. Skin didn't split and no deep charing. Best thing was the skin had amazing snap to it. Going to try some brats next.

The burgers (cooked a little faster than expected)

I've partially answered my own question. Apparently Butler and Bailey Market at Rocky Hill sells Benton's. If anyone knows any other places feel free to share.

2 weeks away from the Bar B Que fest for Memphis in May! Any Vols going? I might go,depends on work, Sis in laws bf is on a team, I haven't tried their bbq yet but they are supposed to be pretty good. If you plan on going and aren't with a team or friends of a team, I hope you can make friends easily to get in a booth or else it's quite boring.

Shrimp Dock in Farragut has a "Mother Earth Meats" counter and refrigerator. They stock Benton's.
