The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

TBI Director was just on FoxNews live. When asked if the brother and the boyfriend have reliable alibi's, he was very evasive.

The brother story of him seeing her go into the woods with a unknown man and not doing anything until he saw blood on the drive never has made sense. I hope that he hasn't nothing to do with this at all!

One thing that kinda sticks out to me is the fact that the "general thought" is that it is someone that the family knows or is a local. With them having so many local and non local volunteers helping with the search what if the suspect is one of the searchers? Very possible.

You are correct. That's why I mentioned that several posts back. Not trying to sound like a d!ck btw. I can't blame you for not wanting to read through all of the guessing on here though. What's sad is that of all of the guessing and different theories, it very well could end up being something none of us thought about.

Whitney Duncan has stated emphatically several times that the brother is not a suspect. Can't say that I wouldn't say the same thing about a family member unless I knew 100% otherwise. I'm sure no one will be definitively ruled out until she is found.

it's isn't unusual at all to deny that someone is a suspect publically when they actually are. they might be hoping that he'll lead them to her if he thinks he isn't under surveillance. who knows what really happened at this point? too much conflicting info.

I don't know if it's because it's relatively local or not, but this brings back the Marlena Childress case in the '80s. Snatched from her yard. Conflicting details. No one saw anything.

hard for me to believe they are still in the woods and no one has found them.

I agree. This is day 5. 5 days in the elements, with or without supplies, is a LONG time.

At this point, IMO the only way she's alive is if the kidnapper had a vehicle stashed and they hit I-40. which means they could be anywhere in the country by now.

Even if the kidnapper is local, he could have killed her, disposed of the body and returned to life as usual.

What if they weren't in the elements the whole time?

not just the elements, but the thousands of people looking for her. i agree the two most likely options are a) she's dead and the body got hidden somewhere or b) they aren't anywhere near the woods.

That would put me back to wondering how in the hell it could be possible to move back and forth with all of NW tennessee looking for you.

But then, all of NW TN really has no idea who they are looking for. Authorities won't budge. As I said friday... maddening.

I hate to sound cold hearted, but I wonder if Holly wanted to run away and this is some elaborate scheme for it?

This is what I'm starting to believe. It's a small community - and we're talking about 18-20 year olds - so if there was foul play the case would have been cracked by now.

It's looking like a staged run away case. Throw some squirel blood on the carport, some of your belongings in the woods, then head out west.

Then that greatly decreases the odds that she'll ever be found.

It means that authorities are dealing with someone that is smart enough to bait them with false leads in the woods.

can't rule anything out, but that would be a shocker too.

Honestly, I think that if her and the kidnapper were gone from the area and were on the run, we'd all know who it was. That leads me to believe it's all been local.

My guesses -

1. She's currently on her way to a major city or middle east to be a sex slave. But, there's enough evidence to counter this so I doubt it.

2. She's dead and they are merely looking for the body. At this point, I'd say this is most likely.

3. She's been shuffled around and the kidnapper(s) have provided her with enough basic essentials and she's alive. Not likely but possible.

Throwing this out there for us to chew on: Someone just tweeted to @willnunley that they had heard that an arrest has been made and asked if it was true. Not surprisingly, he hasn't answered.

He's consistently ignored the rumors and remained professional.

You don't see a theory that she staged an abduction and just ran away, yet one of your top three guesses is that she's in the middle east as a sex slave? Really?

I would be more than shocked by either.

That better?

I believe she's within 30 miles of her house as I type, if not much closer than that.
