The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

1. She's currently on her way to a major city or middle east to be a sex slave. But, there's enough evidence to counter this so I doubt it.

2. She's dead and they are merely looking for the body. At this point, I'd say this is most likely.

3. She's been shuffled around and the kidnapper(s) have provided her with enough basic essentials and she's alive. Not likely but possible.

i think in my naive heart i still want to believe it is #3. if at 3 pm today they don't change it to a recovery effort i will not be surprised.

as far fetched as #1 sounds, especially if this area has a reputation for having alot of drug use problems, i'd imagine #1 is quite likely, which absolutely sickens me.

There's a lot more drug activity in the area than people realize which is why I refuse to write it off as a possibility.

I know it has happened in the past. With that said, Why would a 20 year old that is getting a degree in nursing (to me this means she has a pretty good head on her shoulders) stage an abduction. If she wanted to be gone she could simply leave and if found she could tell the authorities she didn't want to be around the family anymore.

Isn't it mostly meth and pills?

I'm not trying to be a jackass or knock Parsons, TN but those aren't the kinds of drugs that get people shipped to the middle east as sex slaves.

Primarily, but there's always been a lot more stuff in that area related to the I-55 corridor than people realize.

I'm not saying it's widespread and rampant, but there always been rumors and rumblings of crap going on for as long as I can remember.

Yeah to be honest thats pretty much true. This town is known for meth labs and crap unfortunately..a number of searchers and volunteers I talked to last night said that there were multiple meth labs found out in the woods over the past few days which doesn't surprise me at all.

we had an astronaut stalk a man not too long ago. but it's hard for me to imagine she would have kept this up for this long AND also be able to evade the authorities. she's very recognizable at this point.

I haven't even thought about the number of meth labs that have been found in this.

What has crossed my mind is wondering who would represent the kidnapper if/when they are caught.

He's consistently ignored the rumors and remained professional.

Yes he has. That's why I said "not surprisingly". Didn't mean to imply that he's withholding info or anything like that.

I would be more than shocked by either.

That better?

I believe she's within 30 miles of her house as I type, if not much closer than that.

What makes you believe she is this close? Just a hunch? I know u know the area and some ppl involved but if you can't say, I understand.

If she were taken on the run by a kidnapper, she could very well be faking a conspiratorial relationship with him, or even a romantic one, particularly if the kidnapper is an ex or a stalker. She's probably smart enough to know that if she rejects him he's got no reason to keep her alive at this point with all the heat. Who knows, by now she could be somewhere in Montana patiently waiting for her opportunity....

Nothing I have heard yet gives me any reason to think she's ever been farther away from her home than that. It's pretty much my hunch, but what bit of evidence yet has there been that she's anywhere other than near her home?

I could be totally wrong, but all signs point to her being nearby.

I'm also not going to be surprised if we find out that authorities are purposely diverting the volunteers. Maybe they're hot on this guy's ass and know it. Can you imagine what would happen to this dude if a group of volunteers found him first?!

If he made it through alive he could call it a good day.

agreed, but it would take a true nutjob to not come forward at this point. particurally with how upset her family clearly is.

Hypothetical situation.

She's a young girl with big dreams. She's two years out of high school, going to a satellite community college. Who knows how well she's doing - maybe struggling. She's had some bad relationships - real bad. She sees her friends dying from meth. She doesn't want to end up a life longer living in her parents house.

Rather than simply run away, which she knows would crush her parents, she stages a disappearance. She maybe realizes now how bad things are, but is too scared to come forward.

Divert volunteers? No way. One of them flips a four wheeler and breaks his neck only to find out they were on a purposeful wild goose chase. No chance.

Well, apparently this is going to be on Nancy Grace tomorrow night.

Don't know whether to be happy or sad about this.

makes sense for 3 days ago, but not for this long.

Just got a phone call and they've arrested one person. And supposedly he released two other names that were involved. If the names he released are really the ones that helped, all 3 of them are around 19-21 years old.
