The Holly Bobo Kidnapping

Correct. I believe it was a volunteer who dropped theirs.

That puts a very disturbing thought in my head. I can just imagine a few of the thousands of volunteers that have helped thus far going out into the woods, purposely dropping something they have with them, "find" it, turn it in and hope it magically leads to finding Holly and a huge reward for them.

Possible, but highly doubtful.

They don't know where they are going until they get on the bus, and any piece of evidence found is going to be highly scrutinized. Throw in tampering with an investigation once figured out, and you'd have someone about as dumb as the craigslist ATV tire guy pulling it off.

Oh I know. I just wouldn't put it past a nutjob or two among a few thousand to try it.

Point granted.

I have wodnered how many people have tried to pack heat in case they found the dudes so they could shoot them.

You can bet your arse I'd be carrying mine and have my wife as well. With crazy stuff like what is going on there, I wouldn't walk into the woods not knowing who or what was out there, ya know?

I bet some volunteers have stumbled upon independent searchers. That would make for some serious butthole puckering.

True.

I've also had several tell me they've ran accross countless meth labs out there too. I guess a positive byproduct of this.

Looking at the map of Myracletown Rd earlier......it appears everyting is within a fairly small area. Nothing to the east of Hwy 69, North of I-40, or south of 412.

Just seems very concentrated considering how wide of an area they could be looking at, and the lack of info they have released. Why would they do this? Do they really believe she and/or the suspect haven't really gotten out of Dodge yet?

They searched outside these areas yesterday.

Tiger, have you heard from any of your contacts if the tests on the blood or anything else have come back yet?

They are not releasing that info to anyone. They have it (I'm 99.999% sure anyway), but no one other than TBI knows and that includes local law enforcement. It's been kept hush-hush.

I can understand and respect that. I figured, like everything else, that they probably had it and just weren't releasing it to the public.

While this is true, and I was thinking about this yesterday, I'd be willing to bet if he knows or has heard anything, he's been told what and what not to tweet. Jmo.

Nunley is not going to report anything that hasn't come from the proper people, and in his position I totally respect and appreciate that. The authorities have cut off info, thus he doesn't have much to say.

That said, I'm willing to bet he's heard/knows the exact same thing I've been told and can't report it.

So it should all be over soon? Happy ending?
