Hunter Biden being convicted of a firearms charge is the ultimate red herring of red herrings.

The DOJ allowed the statute of limitations expire on his most serious tax charges, buried evidence of the Bidens' foreign bribery allegations, and attempted to give Hunter a sweetheart deal with broad immunity.

David Weiss wouldn't go after him on the serious tax charges or on FARA because all of that would lead back to the shady business dealings involving his father.

Instead, they went after him for a much lesser charge, where the evidence was way too insurmountable to ignore, so they can scream "nobody is above the law" when they put President Trump in jail.

To be fair, is this a trial that should have taken place? What is normally done in these instances? Still believe politics played a big role in this and at some point, some adults have to stand up in the room in and say enough. Otherwise, we're down the rabbit hole and not coming back out peacefully.

What I would like to see, is Trump win the election and proceed to commute the sentence or something along those lines. And I would not be surprised if he did do something.

Just like with Trump...he's not an innocent and it's political....

Hunter's prosecutions present or future aren't the biggest takeaway. The laptop being verified again and this time by the FBI in court and that laptop showing Joe Biden was involved in Hunter's illegal business dealings is by far the biggest story.
