Trump exposed the media and both parties for what they are in 2016, and in 2024 has eviscerated the mainstream media's position as the primary source of information for most Americans, who now view it for what it has really always been but just on steroids for the last 20+ years, as a corrupt arm of the Democrat party.

But to me the single most valuable thing Trump achieved this time around was the complete and total repudiation of that piece of garbage Obama and his alleged "fundamental transformation" of the country. If there was any justice whatsoever, Obama and the mass murderer Fauci would end up in prison for the damage they wreaked and the lives they ruined for their own power and enrichment. I'm not holding my breath.

it also comes on several fronts that Joe has based his political career around. Paying your fair share of taxes? not hunter. Gun control? not hunter. Bringing back honor and respect of the law? not Hunter.

at some point Joe should have cut Hunter off. Being an enabling father figure is NOT being a protective father figure. I would argue its quite the opposite as it has created a worse reality than having held Hunter accountable at some point.

I get it, no one likes Hunter or Joe. And Joe lied about not doing it, awful. As the trumpers in here like to remind us often, politicians are honest.

In all seriousness, Joe and Hunter are scumbags and Hunter deserves to choke on the long d*ck of justice just like any of us would.

But not a damn one of you wouldn't pardon your own son or daughter if the shoe were on the other foot. If you say you wouldn't, you're lying. That's why I'm amused by all of the faux outrage.

I'd do it and wouldn't bat an eye. I'd take care of my kids long before I worried about what a bunch of partisan hypocrites in DC thought about me, especially if I was an octogenarian who just got railroaded.

This Purina plant in Hartwell Ga used to bea customer of mine. They spent 550M on it and it wasas high tech a plant I had ever visited, with robotic movers and such, so somebody had to pay for it

I wouldn't describe my reaction as outrage.

I get pardoning a son for crimes committed. Politicians lie.

I do think it's entirely fair to point out the corruption inherent in the breadth of the pardon which also shields ole Joe himself (and Jim) from what surely looks like influence peddling. Most of this forum is dedicated to pointing out political corruption - I don't see how this is any different.

I'd pardon my kid too. This is more my issue

Joe Biden: "How dare Trump accuse the justice system of being weaponized against him."
Joe Biden: "The justice system was weaponized against my son Hunter."
