The Impeachment Thread

It is being reported that Trump's defense attorneys have NOT ONE TIME mentioned Bolton on the Senate floor.

Odd under the circumstances, don't you think?

You should have listened to their opening remarks. They explicitly said they wouldn't address anything that wasn't presented in the congressional case against President Trump.

If i work to get a check, isnt that quid pro quo? When obama threatened african nations that he would withhold if they passes pro-family laws, isnt that quid pro quo.

If trump did withold funds to investigate corruption, why is that illegal?

He wasn't investigating corruption. Soliciting a foreign government for help in an election is bribery and against the law. That's why it's illegal

I think this is more Machiavellian than Trump is capable of.

What a Twit . This is just one more reason ( and there’s a lot of reasons with him ) , why the people that watch his show and believe him should be flogged .

All relevant witnesses.... Eric C, Joe and Hunter Adam Schift etc
Yes, all relevant witnesses. You can have the Bidens, the whistleblower, Schiff, Pelosi and Alexandra Chalupa. Just allow John Bolton, Mike Pompeo, Rick Perry, Mick Mulvaney, Rudy Giuliani, Devin Nunes, and Lev Parnas to also testify. That should satisfy everyone.

It’s that longer battery life and the mileage you get is the huge problem . 235 miles in the city or suburbs is nice , on the road it’s nothing , and that’s at optimal battery power ( brand new ) . We all know from having smart phone really what that means .

The other point that the fans of fancy golf carts ignore is that electricity doesn't just come out of the wall. Most of it is still produced with fossil fuels. Add in transmission losses, charging losses, battery age depletion, and the losses involved in the converting heat from fuel burned to electricity and you really are likely to find that burning fossil fuels directly to produce motive power is as environmentally efficient as electric cars. The big deal is where they produce the electric power - and ignore the transmission losses to get it to environmentally challenged cities. That doesn't even get into the environmental aspects of producing batteries and then dealing with spent batteries; there's really not much honesty about the real environmental costs because it's easy to ignore the environmental trash that is China.
