He is starting to throw around that word like it's candy... he says it almost as much now as he does "fake news". I don't think Trump could define "treason" if he was asked to.

He has such an inflated and imperial view of himself that he thinks its ok to tout arrest and trial of a political opponent, that its ok to become indebted to foreign leaders just to bolster his political position domestically.

The man is a menace. Has to go.

He does the same thing with the stock market... He has said that if he loses the election the stock market will crash, our 401k's will "go down the tubes". It's incredibly self serving and it does come across as a hollow scare tactic.

The interesting question to this story as it plays out is what else will investigators uncover during this process? Hidden phone transcripts with Putin and MBS are front and center. Further, Trump is already burning bridges with Republicans by acting unhinged. At this rate, he really may complete the impeachment process by himself.

I'm not sure that I'd call myself a diehard Trump supporter or apologist, but if I were, I'd be delighted by this. As a matter of fact, as someone who basically hopes Trump tears both parties to shreds, I am delighted by this. It's wonderful to watch the Democrats rip themselves and the MSM apart in plain sight.

If exaggerating is a treasonable offense, then Trump would have been in prison before he became president. That said, Shiff didn't have to add words that Trump never said. I don't like him either..

I agree the Schiff should be put in a straight jacket and taken to a facility. The parody alone is evidence of mental illness.

Regardless of who said it, the words are true. Democrats are willing to burn down this entire country to get at Trump. The great masses of ignorant will cheer them on even as the flames reach their feet. Thr media will continue trying to blame Trump for it. And the Democrats just won't care.

His only crime? He won when it was "her turn" and hurt their feelings.

This again. Assuming it was true (it's false), why is he tweeting it? He could get on the phone as the supposed president and find out with one call. But that's not the point. The point is to rile up the rubes and their conspiracy theories.

@RockyTop85 here is my speculation. While the report was filed on Aug 12, Schitt had the information before that. But he couldn’t act on it as there is a process that must be followed. Why was the form updated exactly two days before the release and stated ICIG policy prior to then was to not forward hearsay? That has been established and yes I know what the statute says. Another interpretation of the statute is it is quiet on the matter of hearsay and the laid out policy chose to exclude it. Then magically the policy is changed, the form is updated, and the complaint is now in the legal process. But Schitt already has the information. The CRS is tasked to update their primer in the topic and a fresh war plan was ready when this fiasco went public.

Put everybody under oath including the CIA whistleblower. Ask him if he leaked the info illegally prior to normal process completion. Establish the information sources. Ask the Situation Room scribes IG that transcript and markings are original. If we’re gonna investigate it then investigate it all.
