The supporters aren'tt the ones confirmed to be idiots by this post. Trump never mentioned the aid. He'd already withheld the aid by the time the call happened. Ukraine didn't know it had been withheld for a month.
All your post indicates is that you can't think beyond a talking point.
Yes... and there hasn't been a sufficient explanation given as to why. That aid had already been approved by Congress. It does not make sense that the aid was withheld because Trump was trying to get European countries to share in the burden... when no other country even knew that Trump had unilaterally withheld funds from the United States. Your claim that Ukraine didn't know for a month is dubious. They obviously knew that they had not received the funds yet.The supporters aren'tt the ones confirmed to be idiots by this post. See Monty backfire post. A shakedown happens by threatening the target. Again... And this isn't complicated...Yes... and there hasn't been a sufficient explanation given as to why. I don't buy that... They had to know they hadn't yet received $340 million in aid. A country the size of Ukraine doesn't overlook that much money. It was a bribe. Ukraine wasn't getting those funds unless Zelensky convinced Trump that he would assist Giuliani in an investigation of the Bidens and agree to help exonerate Russia of interference in the 2016 election.See Monty backfire post. Trump never mentioned the money. They didn't know it had been withheld for a month after the conversion.
It wasn't a bribe. Or a shakedown. Your conjecture is little more then the need for orange man to be bad.
Blah, blah, blah... Translation: i will ignore the testimony of those involved because... Orange man must be bad.I don't buy that... They had to know they hadn't yet received $340 million in aid. Trump withholding Congressionally authorized military aid to the Ukraine was about gaining leverage over them. End/
Wikipedia says it was a common way to avoid combat service but I’m not old enough to know about all that.
Just keep in mind, there hasn't been an explanation for why aid to the Ukraine was withheld that makes any sense... and Trump has changed his story. At first, Trump said that it was because of Ukrainian corruption (yeah, like that would really bother a man who considers Putin an ally), but the next day, Trump said that it was because he wanted European countries to share in the burden - but how would withholding those funds help - unless European countries were first made aware that the aid had been withheld? Neither one of his explanations makes any sense... and he did change explanations from one day to the next when pressed on it.Blah, blah, blah... Your conjecture and personal incredulity are worth nothing.
Oh yay. More personal incredulity.Just keep in mind, there hasn't been an explanation for why aid to the Ukraine was withheld that makes any sense... and Trump has changed his story. Think about this again.. A US congressmen went on primetime news and said that the US Intel agencies could take Trump down for not stepping in line with them.
And we have a bunch of party mouth breathers cheering it on as it unfolds.

It has been explained countless times on here why that was done... it was Iran's money plus over 30 years of interest. They had purchased military airplane parts just prior to the 1979 hostage crisis that were never delivered. Had it gone to an international tribunal, they would have been awarded more than what they received. So what's worse? Holding back on a check's in the mail kind of promise, or delivering pallets of cash to an enemy state in the middle of the night?
Just out of curiosity. Why should we provide any country foreign aid without expecting something in return?
Do you actually think a know nothing kid gets put on the board of a foreign gas company with a salary of tens of thousands per month unless his father is influential in US politics? And there's no hint of quid pro quo?
