The Impeachment Thread

The IG says the complaint was credible and urgent. By law, when that asessment is made, it is supposed to be transmitted to Congress. Period. There is no discretion.

That Trump and the DOJ under Barr are blocking it should tell you something right there.

That, I find concerning.

As to the rest, I am going to have to see some substance before I get too worked up over this.

Reasonable. I will say that it seems to me at this point that it has to be more than just embarrassing to Trump, a bit more meat to it. Trump makes a living off the mainstream media running stories about his minor goof ups and he and his supporters collectively rolling their eyes over it.

The tea leaves suggest that this one in particular has he and his team stumped and more than a little worried.

I get why you would try to equate the two. You might be right, he might dodge another bullet here.

But you might be wrong.

I know he thinks this is a rhetorical question, but I think 99% of people believe Trump is this dumb.

I bet most would be shocked to know Biden was under investigation in the first place. I want to know what he was being investigated for and the public deserves to know.

REALLY? We should apply that standard across the board. Do you agree?

Trump HAS already been investigated and put under the microscope. Let us find out about Biden's dirty dealings and discuss that at length every single effing night from now until the election.

They didn't even look at his taxes, his businesses, or his finances. More like they went over it at mach 5.

Bottom line though, without an actual course of action he carried out, it doesn't mean a hill of beans. Only MSM can make something out of a promise that has no action to it. The only meat on this bone is IF he made a promise that would be illegal IF he carried it through. And ONLY IF he DID carry it through. But, if he did, why not just throw it in the bucket of all the illegal and unethical things that have been committed by HRC and BHO. Wouldn't this really just pull him closer down to their level.
