If the media creates a story? I guess that's how you think it works.

I'd say pick your best Russian created Ukraine conspiracy theory and run with it... You'll find headlines without substance, but that might be enough to get you through your day.

Meanwhile don't forget to call those, willing to testify to Congress, traitors and hacks... to help you get through your nights, as well.

I will get thru the day just fine for at least the next 6 years knowing my president is looking out for MY interests. I sleep even better.

Does the law allow the whistleblower to remain anonymous?

He/She didn't make the allegations... only brought them to the IG. The IG interviewed and verified the sources as credible.

So, why not try to out the first-hand witnesses?

Did the IG interview the first hand witness that brought it to the "whistle-blowers" attention? I thought I saw that the "whistle-blower" didn't name his source.

I think mr shokin disagrees. Hunter joined the board in 2014 according to the info you provided. Mr Shokin was investigating them in 2015.
Why would joe Biden insist a prosecutor be fired for an investigation that wasn't happening?
Shokins statement is available on scribd. He lays out Biden's involvement and lack of any criminal charges or investigations into Firtash, Either from Ukraine or charges brought by the US against Firtash. US was exerting control in Ukraine to keep Firtash from returning there.
This all started long before Gulianis or trumps involvement. The original quid pro quo.
I'm still looking into shokins background but he was general prosecutor a couple of times since 2003.

Under criminal law, yes. This is an inquiry into an impeachment. Trump doesn't have a right to know who is accusing him.

Yeah, Shokin's affidavit, being filed in Vienna, where Firtash is trying to avoid extradition, makes it very suspect, IMO.

But why would Biden ask for the his ousting if there was no investigation into Burisma?

Probably because it was never his motivation.
