I basically agree with this and your comments a few posts back. Trumpism and the expected backlash is the opposite of civility and unity. As long as Trump is POTUS, the divide will continue to grow. I see no way around that fact.

I’m saying it looks desperate to make a big deal out of the guy’s lawyer, unless the lawyer is a material witness, which he isn’t or he wouldn’t be the lawyer.

I’m curious about why Taylor didn’t talk to Trump, or at least Mulvaney if he was really that concerned. It sounds a lot like he was running doing things that were potentially outside of his purview. He certainly wasn’t doing anything to directly address his concerns.
