He/She didn't follow the formal "whistleblower" protocol though.... neither did Edward Snowden. This particular person, whoever it is, did at least follow the guidelines laid out by the intelligence community, for a person wishing to report irregular or illegal activity from a superior, and who is fearful of reprisal or repercussions to themselves or to their careers.

We need to get out of this mode of "shooting the messenger". It's why people like Edward Snowden feel the need to turn over their information to WikiLeaks and flee the country.Of course they didn't follow protocol. How could you possibly follow protocol when your job is simply to handle - not read or analyze secret documents, but your position on what was being kept secret and shouldn't be was all about having read it? Same for this deal ... who had rightful access to phone transcripts between world leaders? I've been busy today, haven't kept up with what's happening; and as you can tell, I'm way behind on this thread; so if you know who the whistleblower is and what his/her rightfull access was, I'd be interested in knowing.

You know this political and a set up by Trump, right?Who cares who the WB attorney donated money to or where he worked? I don’t hire an attorney based on their political donations.

Well if you are ever hiring an attorney, and do it based on political donations, then I feel sorry for your lawyer. Bc he has a dumbass for a client. You're right my bad. I'm sure there's no political motivation for a former HRC and Schumer employee who would gladly tongue bathe his favorite candidate to come forward. As I said...another Ballsy-Ford.
