Better yet, is he going to say anything that his citizens would infer as being pro Trump?
As the other posters have stated "he handled it great".Guy has already conflicted his words.
"The saga with Giuliani, Leshchenko said, had placed Ukraine in a very difficult position. The the key thing now was for Zelenskiy’s administration to remain neutral and not appear to take sides either with the Democrats or Republicans, he said.
"The best way for Ukraine is to be neutral," he said. "Ukraine has done nothing wrong."
You really do have to feel bad for the guy. First, he has Russia on s hair trigger to invade his country. Then you get help from the USA Congress, but a President you know is in Putin's pocket puts as hold on it until you promise to help him get reelected. Then, you have to sit there in the midst of it all blowing up and try to salvage the relationship with the guy you might need to defend you azz without simultaneously destroying your chances with the next POTUS, who you have to pray is actually sane.
We need to get out of this mode of "shooting the messenger". It's why people like Edward Snowden feel the need to turn over their information to WikiLeaks and flee the country.
That would imply that the messenger actually had the appropriate level of knowledge and history to make an assessment about what's right and what's wrong. Appearances can always be deceiving, and people without the whole story or in the decision making loop frequently can't make the correct assessment of other's actions. So in most cases you have a know nothing outsider with a grudge or a jilted insider who felt his/her position was underappreciated. There are valid whistleblowers ... but it doesn't follow that all whistleblowers are correct. That's my view on things, and I'm about as anti authoritarian as it gets. Nothing gets me quicker than someone at the top responding to a complaint with "You don't know or get the whole picture." That's when I absolutely go off the rails because my complaint would absolutely have had to do with something very wrong forced down on my level.
We do? I was told this outsider came in and was "draining the swamp" of all that is bad in DC.
Can you name one thing Obama or Bush tried to do without opposition? And it doesn’t help the claim he is trying to drain the swamp when he has more lobbyists in his admin in 3 years then Obama or Bush did in 8.Can you actually name one thing that Trump has done or tried to do without opposition? The DC swamp belongs to the politicians (both parties), they like it just the way it is, and they damned sure aren't letting an outsider come in and drain it.
