The Intel Leaks Thread

@BigOrangeTrain @AirVol

conspiracy

Maybe one of you will end the day knowing a little more than when you started it. Yes, government actors working together to set this kid up for leaking the documents as has been insinuated, would actually be a conspiracy. Glad I could help.

Wrong.

This precisely was released.

Unit locations, strengths, weaknesses, air defenses, type and amount of AA missiles remaining and timelines until spent, support by US and allies, incoming UAF brigade numbers and composition, etc. Etc. Etc.

You're 100% talking out of your rectum.

Bottom left almost looks like a map of VA.

So I have to ask, how does a low ranking enlisted AF Guard guy get hard copies of this stuff? Is it just laying around the office?

The documents could be encrypted so that someone handling the network might have access but not be able to read the files. This is just an extremely sloppy system if a hacker or IT guy can access files and they are then available for the reading. Seems incredibly stupid for any "intelligence" agency.
Agreed

Major media seems really mad that this person leaked, mad at how the Gov't could allow this to happen, etc.

The one thing they aren't really mad about, the fact the Gov't has been lying to the American people regarding Ukraine or mad that they have pushed us to the brink of WW3 over lies.

This leaker is going to be crucified and our "free and open press" is going to scream the loudest to save Barabbas (the Govt).

What "lies" did the government say about Ukraine precisely?

Can you read? Various people in this thread have insinuated that someone conspired to leak these documents and set this kid up. That is why I asked the question to which you randomly replied "but hunter biden."

I have no idea what Hunter would have to do with it but my initial thinking was that it could be an intel op to sow confusion into Russia's top brass. Note there is info there about rumors that 2 ministers are trying to secretly drag the Ukraine war and get Putin replaced. Our goal could be to get Putin to distrust those guys and remove them (dont go near any windows guys). Or it could be a lot of things.

They did something like this rather hastily though for the pipeline. They tried to create a backstory about a rogue Ukrainian group who did this and then left breadcrumbs for it. This could have been another type op where you add just enough good info to make your bad info believable. Point is, we don't know.

Occam's razor says that its probably just some gamer trying to impress his online friends - but that doesnt mean we should take that at face value.

I found this very strange this morning. I usually go to TASS to see what stories and perspectives they report on and from. TASS is the state owned Russian news agency. Much of the stuff there is blatant propaganda; however, sometimes I will see some things on the site that makes me scratch my head. That is what happened this morning. Ever since the leaked documents surfaced, there were many articles about the leaked information, etc. Most of those articles listed what was found in the leaks and the common thread was "this is how evil the US is." What I found intriguing this morning was there was no reference whatsoever to the leak, the accused leaker or the information presented in the leaks. Why would the Russians drop this story at this time? I think conventional wisdom would say the Russians would continue to beat the drum of "Leaks show US is the Devil." Don't get me wrong, there are still plenty of anti-US articles, but nothing on the leak. Any ideas?

Counter psyche ops? If the leaks are presumed true, then one aspect is really an embarrassment for Putin, as his inner circle has been compromised.

I don't know that there was a set-up, but if it was don't understand leaking things like having u.s. soldiers in Ukraine (and I doubt those soldiers are doing anything other than advising or training).

No clue. Obviously problematic.

boots on the ground?

they certainly haven't been forth coming about Ukraine's success and current situation as well.

Of course we're going to have Black Ops guys in there. Our government is not going to ever admit that they're there.

Very problematic. I would expect to see some heads roll well above this guys pay grade but something tells me he'll eat this shizz sandwich alone.

Read somewhere that up to 1.2 million people have access to secret in top secret info.

What's the betting line on wait time before your next dumb post?
I'm quite sure that most of the world's major problems are created by men. Why is the Mideast and Islamic countries so backward--lack of education and patriarchal cultures that have long viewed women as third-class citizens to be ordered around by men. Who commits 90 percent of the crime everywhere? It ain't women. It's telling that more than 70 countries have been led by a woman at one point or another. And yet America isn't one of them, partly because there are a lot of people in America who are frightened by smart, independent women and therefore pathetically try to demonize them. Look at the hate heaped on Clinton and Harris--irrational and embarrassing. The political right in America very aggressively tries to bring down high-profile women in the Democratic Party.

You beat him to the punch.
