It's still not working but I killed the mini bar in the hotel room and I'm feeling too lazy to go find more booze.

So I don't want to start another thread
but who knows about qualifying for the world series of poker

I got invited tonight to play in a poker tournament at our clubhouse (120.00 dollar buy in)
So I go just expecting to play some cards, drink beer, and eat pizza and BBQ

Turns ouut there's 18 folks playing, and some kinda of qualifying tournamnet.

I end up winnig it, now I'm invited to play in another tournament in April, as one of nine winners, and if you win you go to Vegas for the World Series of Poker..

I'm not even that good of a poker player (blackjack when I go to Vegas)..

Is that how it works?

Qualifying tournaments are all over. Go look up how many people actually play in the WSOP every year. It's crazy.

But does that mean if you win this next one, they cover your buy-in for Vegas? How much is the buy in for this one? If the answers are yes and less than $500, I'd say go for it.

Also a quick status update: drank more to no avail, but I just finally started getting tired naturally.

Right as Top Gun came on VH1. ****.

Being from the west coast = out-partying people on EST in their own house as long as its in the first day or two of your trip.

That's sacrilegious to put Single Barrel in the same glass as Blue Moon, including your stomach.

Trust me, I'd prefer Single Barrel all night. Unfortunately I only have a glass worths left. I'm drinking it slow to enjoy it, though.

Kind of like the lounge at my private club here. Dim lighting, too much neon for the space, and decor fitting of the country bear jamboree at disney world.

I'll be having more than a little to drink tonight. Planned on driving home tonight...F that! Got another room, sitting at the bar, 2 shots down, one in hand, and I may have to get physical with a couple of these douchebag UNC Fartheel fans. Obnoxious idiots!
