Ha! I actually watched this up until the 4th quarter and then went to bed.

Woke up this morning and checked the box score and was like, “wait, what?”

You ain’t kidding. I’ve watched more NBA this year just to see DK, I turn one game off a little early and I miss his best performance. I was so pissed when I woke up and saw a text from my friend about it and I thought to myself how much I regretted not staying up lol.

Lakers have a rookie who's a cannon...and it's not Bronny

Dalton Knecht scores 35 points, including 20 in a row, to force overtime and give the Los
Angeles Angels a friendly win over the Suns.

DK finally showed why the Lakers drafted him. he said it last game Bron and Reddick have been telling him to just keep shooting whether it falls or not it will eventually fall... this was the game where Dalton got his groove back. I am excited to see how much they have focused on giving him minutes this preseason. Also glad they have kept their word about how Bronny would be used (not much).

So glad he got drafted to my favorite team. Every time a former Vols is on the Niners or Lakers I get happy.

Thats a weird headline....anyone thats an NBA fan and even more a Lakers fan know who the lakers first-round pick is. only casuals are obsessed with Bronny. NVM they measured him in meters instead of freedom units its a Spanish media company that did that article, they get a pass.

Hawks should’ve taken him. Trae could’ve used another threat on the perimeter as well as someone who can come off a pick when he gets double teamed. They went with some euro dude who’s like 9’ tall, so there’s that.

Man, the highlights are pretty much Knecht doing Knecht things. I imagine the Lakers have seen enough after that one. When he is on like that you can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him!

Buying a Knecht jersey asap.
I am thinking that the Lakers saw what Tennessee saw with respect to practice. I bet DK is balling out in practice and the insiders know they have the real deal. I think that is why they are telling him to go and keep going. They have seen what everyone else has not.

I think the most exciting part of his Box score to me was the 7 rebounds 2 steals and 2 blocks along with only 1 foul and 2 turnovers. Also how and when he scored those points. This game was a good test because the Suns played their big 3 (Booker, Durant, Beal) normal minutes. The only rookie/backup they played heavy minutes was Ryan Dunn with 20 mins. outside of Lebron Lakers played what will likely be their normal rotation.

Looks like maybe DK has the lead on Christe for minutes because even though Christie has gotten some starts he hasn't produced. Last game will be interesting. Bron is also siting that one out so DK will get heavy minutes.

Knecht is about to be a Megastar with the Tinseltown fanbase they have.

It certainly looks that way.

The interesting thing is that the media folks are only focusing on the 3-point shooting right now. But, we know that he also can take a defender with his dribble and hit the mid-range shot as well as finish strong at the rim. I’m very excited to see what he ultimately becomes at this level.

Scoring 35 points in an NBA game (even preseason) is a lot of points.

It will take a while for Risacher to find his niche with the Hawks.

It's nice that the country/nba gets to see what we all watched last year. This kid is truly special. He is only going to get better. Can't wait to see his career unfold. Should have been a top 5 pick. When it's all said and done the best 2 players from this last draft will be Edey and Knecht. I dont understand NBA scouts, they passed on Knecht because of his age, hoping the young players they took would eventually be as good as Dalton already is. Doesn't make sense to me...
