I don’t know about the unnecessary hype dissipating; ESPN app’ recap headline was “Bronny gets first NBA points”

At this point it wouldn't shock me if even Bronny can't wait to get to the G-Leauge so he can just play some and not worry about every moment being highlighted. I mean there will still be pressure to perform and a spotlight but at least he'll get regular play time to get into it.

Rumor is he won't be in G-League starting roster.

Knecht having a really tough night. Finally drew up one that got him and easy layup off the in bound but he started 0-7, missed a few wide open looks, and got absolutely stuffed trying to go to the rim for a dunk before he finally got the layup a couple plays later.

Still wound up +17 in a game they won by 10. That’s been pretty consistent so far this year. Guess he’s doing the little things to help even when the shots aren’t falling. He’ll continue to get opportunities as long as that’s true and it’s a credit to Barnes.

His defense seems to keep improving and he rebounds pretty well. He creates space on the floor too as the other team respects his shooting enough to not help off a lot.

Because he is only playing with them for Home games.. he will not be traveling with the G-league team they are just sending him there to get some minutes he wouldn't be getting on the Lakers. Them (SouthBay) starting him in that situation would be fairly silly.
