Those that played the games know this will be an incredible show. For those that didn’t, the story is gripping. Looks like they are casting two Game of Thrones fan favorites as Ellie and Joel.

I was rooting for Josh Brolin to play Joel, as I thought he was the perfect choice. However I'm also a big fan of Pedro Pascal so we'll see. He better start brushing up on his Texas accent.

As for Bella Ramsay, I never really had anyone specific in mind to play Ellie so, sure why not? She was great in Game of Thrones so maybe she will be great in this as well.

You might be the only person on the planet not hyped about this show.

Besides, anyone who has played the games knows the post-apocalyptic setting is just the vessel for the story. The story itself is what's so great about this series.
