2nd half was solid. That is how most of us expected this team to play all season. Good game plan tonight, kudos to the staff.

Two players that have improved tremendously are Thompson and Stokes. The players deserve lots of credit as well as the coaches.

Stokes has added the short jumper and is much improved at the line. Thompson has gotten more aggressive on both ends which has made a huge difference for us.

If we can shoot like we did tonight consistently and continue to play good defense we should be fine moving forward.

Great SEC road win...definitely showing some progress as players are learning their roles!

Stokes needs the ball more 15 feet out as he's showing some good drives and an improving jump shot.

What's holding Maymon back? I believe he had one made basket out of 7 point blank shots? Is his knee affecting his touch that much? The guy's a warrior who can add 6-8 points a game if he can regain his touch.

I wonder if this team should define their roles more tightly as the season winds down. They don't need 8 guys green lighted to shoot the ball in their half court O. Stokes, McRae, Richardson, then Maymon - everybody else needs to screen, pass, rebound, and play D.

I DID want a big win, tonight. I think the boys need confidence to face the likes of Florida on our home court. Look 'em in the eye and let them know they have a BATTLE in front of them.

You should. He's a Vol fan and knows his s*** about hoops.

Geeze...you guys need to get a room.

As for the game, lots of positives to take away from it. 2 wins in a row, the 2nd being in a place where we've won 3 of our last 19?

However, I still have concerns, mainly about the depth of this team. Davis was out of his league tonight. Armani and Barton played solid, but didn't contribute a great deal on the offensive end.

Reality is that going forward, Stokes is going to get his double/doubles game in and game out. The key to this team winning is whether Mcrae is on or not.

I think it's less about McRae and more Richardson and/or Barton/Thompson. McRae will get his, he always does and he's just that talented. However, when those other 3 can't hit their perimeter shots we become one dimensional and really struggle. Josh was hitting tonight, and we actually shot a team out of a zone for once. We didn't just settle for there's though in the second half, did a great job pushing when it was there, and getting the ball inside in a position for our bigs to score.

I might actually give my POTG award to Thompson. He is really growing into a true PG. We handled the press with poise tonight, and that made all the difference.

Stokes is playing like a man, and Maymon continues to return to his pre-injury form. I like it. . . .a lot.

Jordy Mac with another game to get him SEC POTY votes. His outside shooting and threat with the explosive drive screams next level.

Josh Rich shooting the rock -- probably my vote for most improved (and important) piece to the puzzle. We need him as an option.

Go Vols!

He'll ruin Davis like he did Chievous, trying to make him a 4. Kid's clearly a 3.

Any win over Alabama is a win to be happy about.

Yes, beating the Red Team in Tuscaloosa is huge! This Tennessee team is starting to hit their stride, and at the right time too.

Go Big Orange!!
