It's too bad because in a lot of ways being a good football coach is precisely about being a good administrator, good recruiter and good decision maker with respect to assistant coaches and game-day decisions. Dooley could be a great recruiter, make no mistake, and administrator, but you have to win games first, and that he's been spectacularly unable to do.
