The Mandalorian

In your opinion, is it worth watching the first 3 episodes?

I enjoyed them but they are a little slow so I get criticism. Lots of flashbacks on how he survived after the Sarlac.

i think you could skip to E4 and accept the Boba parts in E5 and E6 as part of Mando’s adventures.

Think of it like you read Spider-Man but you don’t read Hulk. Then you see Spider-Man on a Hulk cover so you pick it up. You may not quite know what’s been going on with Hulk but you enjoy the Spider-Man parts anyway.

Just got around to finishing the second season recently. I cannot wait for the 3rd season. This show has me hooked.

Was the end of season 2 spoiled for you?

You need to watch Boba Fett or at least episodes 4-6. It’s really Mando S2.5.

What does everyone think of episode 1 of the new season? Short episode, but entertaining IMO

This show has fallen off for me. I just don't care about Mando's side quests at this point. I think a big part of it is how good Andor was. Mandalorian compares very unfavorably to it.

I haven't seen Andor yet,but I have heard that it has a more serious tone. The more I watch Mandalorian, the more I understand what people mean when people bring up the fact that it mixes Samurai culture with Westerns. I'm a big fan of that. Well,it was pretty easy to write off Gina Carano as expected. This episode was a bit on the short side, but you can tell they're going to go more into the history of the Mandalorians. I don't think they'll focus on Grogu nearly as much this season.

Thought the epi used him well.

The series is in good hands for now. Setting up well, touching on all characters it needs.

Andor imo is by far the best SW show and probably the best SW thing since the original trilogy or at least since Rogue One (which makes sense being they are connected). It's the closest thing to an R rated SW show/movie that we'll get and it really deserves some awards buzz.

I still like the other shows but the quality of Andor is just a clear step above everything else.

I'm really enjoying Mandalorian so far,but I'll have to take your word for it and check it out. I've heard good things about it.
