This episode was a bit of a lull after the opening scene. I know it’s setting up the next plot line of the season but man did it drag. The whole time my kids kept saying “When are they getting back to Mando?” When it his ship came out of hyperspace the shouted “FINALLY”!!!

And then it was over

I will applaud the show for not spending an entire season on getting to and bathing in the living waters.

I'm hoping that episode sets something up later because as it played out it felt a bit filler and it was an odd total shift to that storyline kind of out of the blue. And yes they at least got right to the living waters thing but honestly that whole storyline is starting to drag a bit for me. Let's move on to the next meat of the story.

While not the most exciting episode I think they got it right. They had to lay the groundwork for the bigger stuff later both on mando and the other series. I think part of this is going to lead directly to Thrawns appearance and the other part laid the foundation for the future of the mandalorian people.

I'm going to watch last week's episode tommorow night before the new one comes on. I haven't got around to watching last week's yet.... Besides,from what all I have heard,I haven't missed all that much. Interested to see if it picks up tommorow night.

I never watched any of the animated series, but didn’t their timeline pre-date this one? On all those easter egg YouTubes they’re indicating Admiral Thrawn is next. This cloning technology sidetrack might be how they explain the Emperor’s return.

Clone Wars were prequel era. Clones were phased out in the time between RotS and ANH. See The Bad Batch. This takes place 5+ years after RotJ so yeah it’s been about 30min years.

I don’t really want to give it too much brain power but Palpatine was playing with cloning in Rise of Skywalker.
