Don’t think shadows is cannon anymore but I could be wrong.

88 was an assassin droid while this IG is a true bounty bot.

Read on wookiepedia that IG88 was one of the bounty hunters hired by Darth Vader and it showed him with the others (including Boba Fett) in ESB.

Because after Endor various Imperial political and military leaders created their own little kingdoms to rule over since the Emperor died. Both the new canon and the old EU had these scattered remnants of the Empire across the galaxy.

Yes esb is cannon but the Nintendo 64 game where you kill him I don’t believe is cannon now. That is what I was saying.

I know you are joking but what version is canon lol?

Take new hope for example.

Han shot first was canon.

Then Han shot second was canon.

Now they redid it again and it’s almost simultaneously fires by both but greedo misses.

It’s kinds hard to keep up with Star Wars cause both Lucas and Disney are making so many changes on the fly.

I am not debating empire.

Not sure why you are.

I am stating that the n64 video game has parts that are canon and parts that are not.

I am specifically taking about the gsme and ig-88 death in the game.

Not much into video games...owned the different Playstations. Also never got into the different Star Wars books. Anything “canon” for me would be movie based. So I wasn’t arguing with you...just not tuned into the same source material.

3 episodes in and it gets better each episode. Kids were sweating the fate of Yoda baby. My oldest was concerned about the R2 unit that got shot too LOL.

Just finished episode 3. Easily the best so far. This is what Star Wars should be. Only complaint is the episodes need to be longer.

Just finished watching and this was my favorite yet. The storm trooper hunting scenes were awesome.

The guy who did the first few Iron Man movies is the one who made this..after three episodes..he should get a trilogy deal. Dude seems to know Star Wars and what fans like.

Ending of episode 3 was awesome.

He also wrote and starred in the greatest movie of my generation.....swingers

He was also Foggy in the Daredevil movie LOL.

Another fun fact, he was the voice of the Mandalorian, Pre Vizsla, in Clone Wars. So he has a little history with them.

Speaking of Clone Wars, Dave Filoni directed the first two episodes. He is the lead creator on the animated shows from Clone Wars, Rebels, and Resistance.
