The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

The 2 tiered justice system generates this unfortunately. Pedo Joe should be making your license plates if the playing field is level. At least his jail showers wouldn’t be with his daughter.

Independents largely line up in support of the indictment – 62% approve of it and 38% disapprove. Democrats are near universal in their support for the indictment (94% approve, including 71% who strongly approve of the indictment), with Republicans less unified in opposition (79% disapprove, with 54% strongly disapproving).

While views on the indictment are split along party lines, the poll finds that majorities across major demographic divides all approve of the decision to indict the former president. That includes gender (62% of women, 58% of men), racial and ethnic groups (82% of Black adults, 71% of Hispanic adults, 51% of White adults), generational lines (69% under age 35; 62% age 35-49; 53% age 50-64; 54% 65 or older) and educational levels (68% with college degrees, 56% with some college or less).

Yes, our judicial system should be dictated by polling.

I wonder what the percentages who believe this is politically motivated are?

More importantly I fear this will stoke the Trump fires and ensure we have another round of horrible candidates to choose from.

They give that data.

I do hope both sides put up better candidates than they did in 2020.

From the article:

Most Americans (76%) believe politics played at least some role in the decision to indict Trump, who is both a former president and current candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. About half (52%) see it as having played “a major role” in the decision, while around a quarter say it played a minor role and 14% no role at all. Another 10% are unsure if politics was a factor in the grand jury’s vote.

Nearly all Republicans, 93%, see the indictment as politically motivated, including 83% who say politics played a major role. Among independents, 52% say politics played a major role; that drops to 25% among Democrats.

I would vote for Romney or Cheney or maybe even Hutchison.
It would have to be an anti-Trumper, moderate, looking to unite.
You people are so obsessed with Trump it's very scary. I have no doubt if Trump beats all these fake charges the next step by you all will be to take him out, I really believe that's the next step from democrats

Republicans should just render him irrelevant, and only repubs can do that.

Thank you, close to what I figured

I don't think people realize just how weak a response that is every single time.

That still doesn't make this whole exercise a good idea though.

Fact is, Trump is a fraud, business and otherwise. And his antics are starting to catch up with him.

STARTING.
