Well, if a few old guys in Florida sitting in chairs while eating sandwiches doesn't get Bragg to change his mind ... there is no hope.Trump announces plan to Address The Nation at 8.15pm from Mar-a-Lago on TUESDAY - just hours after his arrest in NYC
Donald Trump will deliver remarks Tuesday in his first speech since being indicted by a Manhattan grand jury – and the same day he is expected to be arraigned in New York.
An announcement from his 2024 campaign notes that Trump will speak from his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida on April 4 at 8:15 p.m.

The New York hush-money probe of Donald Trump explained
This discusses it, without being long-winded.
Underneath:
WHAT CRIMES ARE PROSECUTORS LOOKING AT?
It reads ....
"Legal experts say a case could be made that Trump falsified business records by logging Cohen's reimbursement for the Daniels payment as legal fees. But that's only a misdemeanor under New York law - unless prosecutors could prove he falsified records to conceal another crime."
The reason that I like it, is from a political standpoint. It keeps emphasis on Trump's payment to a stripper/porn star from an encounter they had while his wife was pregnant. I care nothing for this from it's legal perspective. It is a reminder of what a lowlife person that Trump is. Every appearance is that the Republican Party base doesn't care - but independent voters do. That is why I like it. Trump can't win the General Election.
It is both a weak case and highly political. Alvin Bragg was under a lot of pressure to pursue a grand jury indictment. Nevertheless, it emphasizes that Trump and his associates laundered money to a very unseemly individual just before the 2016 Presidential Election. He denies having had an affair with Stormy Daniels, but why else do you pay someone like this $130K and have her sign a non-disclosure agreement? The whole thing makes Trump look like crap. You called it weak a few days ago and now admit it is political, whilst 2 years ago complained about election interference and now support this election interference. Glad to see you finally come out of the closet and admit it has always been political.
Report: Manhattan Judge to Put ‘Gag Order’ on Donald Trump
The legal team representing former President Donald Trump reportedly expects that the Manhattan judge will put a gag order on him as the case awaits trial.
A source close to the legal team told the Daily Mail the judge will take an “unprecedented step” to silence the 2024 presidential candidate. The gag order could potentially undercut his ability to campaign on the issue of legal corruption during the primary.
Trump breaking the gag order could potentially see him slapped with a $1,000 fine and as many as 30 days in jail, per New York law. Despite the pending order, the former president still plans to make a speech at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday evening after peacefully submitting himself to the prosecution in New York. The case is political so this is political speech. It's a pretty big shot on the 1A. I doubt it happens, but I guess nothing should surprise me.If one were issued it would just be about the case, not his ability to run.
Can't speak to New York law but when you have posts of baseball bats behind the prosecutor and predicting death and destruction, an argument can be made that Trump is in essence threatening potential jurors. That would be the concern. I can see a lot of people whom would otherwise be neutral unwilling to serve for fear of retaliation if they convicted.
