The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

Jonathan Turley has gone on Fox News and said that the Special Counsel indictments appear strong. You are flat-out making up #1.

Alan Dershowitz is a Trump supporter and he has reiterated the same thing. Dershowitz has also refused many overtures to join Trump's defense team ... reportedly because he doesn't think he could win the case. He did serve as counsel for Trump during his one of his impeachments, and he also worked for Kari Lake. Dershowitz is anything but anti-Trump.
Sometimes your level of ignorance or sheer lack of understanding what you see or hear is astounding. Turley is one of the lawyers sayings these charges have serious 1A ramifications. There is already posted to this thread an article on/by Alan pretty much saying the same thing after someone else made a post like yours.

Even Fox News' top legal commentator says the indictment against Trump is 'extremely damning'

I said that Jonathan Turley mentioned an indictment as appearing to be "strong." Jonathan Turley actually used the phrase "extremely damning." It's pretty much the same thing. I didn't say which specific indictment that he was referring to.

Obviously, Jonathan Turley doesn't feel the same way about every indictment. That doesn't change what he said about the indictment pertaining to classified documents back in June, which he described as being "extremely damning."
Where’s the “extremely damning” for Hillary and Sloppy Joe?….. it’s not that Trump had classified documents that you should be concerned with…

Right ... it's that Trump took classified documents with him into the $hitter at Mar-A-Lago ... what a horrifying visual this is.

Ok. Fair. How many government employees, at the highest levels, have ASKED for and received, donations for their legal expenses? More details here. How many were self proclaimed billionaires? How many that actually grifted attorneys' fees have been under 4 federal indictments? Well, 3 right now. How many of them threatened the prosecutors? Multiple times? Who are the attorneys that have steadfastly, stuck by him? Why did a handful of Trump Republicans in Congress proactively ask for pardons? Oh but, the documents were planted. No wait, and then the documents were declassified simply because I thought it in my mind.
Yeah at least Joe Biden violated the law with regard to classified information openly and honestly. For that alone he should be in prison. He and Hillary both. You have zero high ground here.

All those 'indictments' are nothing but smoke screens for the real crimes going on. I know Democrats that are starting to acknowledge that.

Why are you people so afraid of Trump?

Easy. He's not the Washington establishment. That's why they hate him.

LOL.

Trump is as swampy as any career politician in DC. He engaged in a steady pattern of emoluments clause violations, and filled his cabinet with people such as Scott Pruitt, Ryan Zinke and Wilbur Ross who were just as aggressive as he was in their pursuit of self-enrichment.

To the contrary of being afraid of Trump ... he is the one and only Republican candidate that Joe Biden is capable of beating. Has the thought crossed anyone's mind that Democrats like it, when Trump's poll numbers go up in the Republican Party Primary following each indictment? That is not a negative for Biden's chances of being re-elected. Trump is who the Democrats want to run against.

Hey, I am all for Biden and/or Hillary going to jail too. I supported neither, so that ruins your simplistic, binary narrative.

Uhhhh....Trump lost money while he was in office. I know the left fantasizes about him wanting to be president so he could make more money, but that is way off base. Now, I do agree that Trump is more beatable than others because he is so polarizing.

Dear Lord. I am talking about the most recent indictments as have most everyone else. Yes, if it makes you feel better, the documents cases are legally stronger, but Turley has specifically said the latest indictments around "election fraud" are weak.

Did you (A) not understand my posts or (B) not bother to read your links.

Lots of criminals have skated on technicalities but most of the time, it hasn't been political. So, in reality, you're defending his criminality and hoping he gets walk. Purely for tribal, political beliefs, right? At least make an effort to be intellectually honest about it
By technicalities, do you me technically he did nothing illegal and shouldn't have been charged??
