The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

Or maybe it's the quintessential statement that no man is above the law. What could be more American?

But I see you want a world where the rich and politically powerful or untouchable. How un-American. Talk about Nazi-like.
Tell me the number of Americans currently incarcerated for paying hush money settlements to avoid sexual scandal.
Did you know Bill Clinton paid Paula Jones $850,000?
Also, the crime which Trump is being accused of committing is past the two year statute of limitations
But please continue to explain the „rule of law“ to us

I'll let the courts handle it.

'If there's a civil war I'm fighting': Trump loyalists face off with staunch Liberals outside former president's NYC tower on the eve of his rumored arrest

Donald Trump supporters today gathered outside his Manhattan tower vowing to continue backing the former president despite rumors he could be arrested Tuesday.

As the die-hard fans, mainly New Yorkers, stood in the sun waving flags and voicing support, small clashes erupted outside Trump Tower with other locals who want to see him indicted.

Trump loyalists.....the term alone is cringe worthy.

I'll let the courts handle it.
So by your logic, Just arrest everyone suspected of a crime and „let the courts handle it“?
You are okay with people spending tens of thousands of dollars on lawyers just because some rouge DA decided to act on a Hail Mary longshot?
My gosh Luther, just when I think you couldn’t get any MORE deranged 😉.

I'm aware that it may appear that way. We have allowed ourselves to get so sick that the road to recovery is going to have some ugly and painful patches.

Road to Recovery? You have some twisted logic there.

I am glad to see the collective word ourselves for it is truly a mixed bag of all and I swear I do not know what the solution is. This countries political and judicial system is about three notches below a third world country that we have not even heard of. How did we get here? It started well before Trump and has progressively gotten worse and worse. I do not know if an honest person could even survive in the cauldrons of DC and several major cities. I truly fear what it is going to take to straighten it out. This country was on a similar path in the twenties and thirties and it took a world war to bring us back to center. Unfortunately if a world war happens in this day and time there will be no center left. Maybe I am being overly paranoid but the corruption at high levels is revolting in the foulest way.

He has no knowledge how this nation functions. He is an authoritarian

Since we’ve went full 3rd world country stuff, if this doesn’t get rid of Trump the next and last step from the commies in charge is to take him out. I wouldn’t be one but surprised if that were their next move

I can agree with media bias. It's why I don't waste my time with cable news.

However, white pride and black pride are two different levels of cultural celebration. There's a reason one is often associated with racist organizations and the other represents overcoming social injustice, and it's not entirely the media narrative.
Fair enough.

So when “white pride” is used the phrase is linked with racism and racist organizations.

When “black pride” is used the phrase is linked with linked social justice.

Solid observation.

But when “straight, white, Christian males” is used the phrase is rarely descriptive in nature or endearing. Typically it’s an insult, either outright or inferred.

I apologize if you were just making an observation, with no ill intent. Perhaps you can start a thread and share all the love and support you have towards the “straight white Christian male”community. I’m sure other posters on here that normally use that phrase would embrace the opportunity to join you on your soapbox.

Guess we can't call a spade a spade anymore.

It's hard to be optimistic, and that's my nature. It falls on the shoulders of general public.

Difference is the Trump/Daniels affair was, by all accounts, consensual. Clinton was paying Paula hush money for sexual assault/harassment.

Just heard an amazing statement on CNN:

The DA has reduced felonies to misdemeanors by 50% and is now taking a 7 year old misdemeanor and trying to make it a felony.
The fraeking NY AG James campaigned on this.

Pure political hit job.
