The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

In fairness, the Dem Establishment is in a tough spot: they have a President who has led the country onto the brink of full recession, into skyrocketing inflation, through a disastrous/failed CV19 response, and has us positioned as a feeble/flailing nation on the world stage. A huge war continues in Asia and tensions with China and N Korea are high. Biden is, by any measure, suffering from senile dementia. Yet, they don't have a single answer, nor a viable, competent successor for the next election.

This is a desperation move, over a dumbass aged offense that should carry no more penalty than a slap on the wrist. We are freeing violent offenders and letting Fentanyl pour across the southern border, despite it now being the single largest killer of younger adults.

It will backfire, and it could get really nasty. Pulling this junk and attempting to martyr Trump (who I do not really care for) could result in costly and devisive protests, violence, and potentially galvanize groups already sitting on a powder keg and armed to the teeth.

Here's an idea: come up with a plan to get the country back on track and present a 2024 candidate who doesn't poop his pants. Then, you don't have to worry about Trump. The Right will be forced to produce a better candidate, and we will all be better off.
They dont care about us being better off, they care about power.

Oh, I know, but I'm trying to help the blind sheep come to this realization. In the end, this move would hurt everyone and the Nation, and it will certainly widen the chasm between the Left and the Right and make compromise and civil discussion impossible.

If people didn't learn after the catastrophic CV19 response, I fear they never will. Close your business, take government free money, don't go to the park, gag your children, let them "learn" from a computer screen all day, be refused life saving medical procedures unless you take an experimental shot, keep taking enormously profitable shots for eternity (even though they now admit they don't work), ignore the now obvious adverse events, ignore the fact that literally nobody is in the ICU, yada, yada , . . . FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!

That’s literally what this case is about. Paying off a porn star that he had an affair with. Honestly Trump is in way hotter water in Georgia than he is in NY.
Which has been done for ages. There's a whole fund for when congressmen are accused of it.

This is purely political given the state of NY crime stats

Like I said, the NY stuff is inconsequential compared to the GA stuff. Personally it’s not surprising that Trump cheated on his third wife or that he paid hush money. He’s cheated on all his wives, and GOPers have apparently decided it’s a non issue after sitting on their high horses about Clinton doing it for all these decades. If I recall at one point Congressional Republicans had a slush fund to pay off sexual assault victims.

All of Congress has a fund and both sides use it.

The "GA stuff" is inconsequential as well.

It's not tho. It's about going after a political opponent and trying to silence them. It's third world country type stuff.
Yes.

But when this is all said and done we will be better for it. We will unite around the democrat party, hand over our firearms and crazy ideas like private property and freedom of speech. We can finally usher in an era of peace under one World government.

At least that seems to be the view of Barney Fife.

I thought the Christian right cared about adultery and covering it up (Clinton). Evidently the outrage is selective.

Hypocrites.

Has nothing to do with adultery (let Melania cut his b***s off if she wants) and even less to do with Christians, but your ad hominem attack is duly noted. It has everything to do with a hyper partisan, politically motivated DA trying to trick f*** the legal system in resuscitating a misdemeanor whose statute of limitations has run out and bring it back from the dead as a felony. The hypocrites are those fawning all over the two entirely different justice systems that the left has created in this country. Congrats to Alvin Bragg. He’s a joke.
