This is one of the worst statements I’ve read on here.

I've read a lot of posts from Maga folk on this and other boards over the last couple of years---most of them exceedingly dumb and untethered
to reality ("we like trump's christian values") --and so I'll stand my statement.

Guess what we're all getting in our stockings this Christmas? These tchotchkes make great gifts for the Trump lover and even better gag gifts for the Trump hater.

To laugh at this mugshot is to misunderstand it. Georgia has just crystallized Trump's campaign message with a copyright-free image that will win him the nomination.

Fani Willis, Georgia's district attorney, surely felt quite self-satisfied these past two weeks. We all saw her smug press conference announcing Trump's indictment.

But the mugshot — wholly unnecessary, avoided in Trump's three other indictments, meant to humiliate and degrade — has opened up a brand new revenue stream and re-energized Trump's already fanatical base.

Please. No one buys that this mugshot isn't politically motivated. Donald Trump is one of the most photographed people on the planet. It's not as if he's going to jump bail.

Truly, it's mystifying: Those who loathe Trump, who have come to know him intimately, still don't get him!

Try to destroy him and he only emerges stronger.

Those who rejoice in Trump's arraignment here — and I am among them — should rue this mugshot. It elevates Trump beyond politics to the realm of pure pop culture. It's the apotheosis of his reality-TV approach to campaigning, feuding, saying the most outrageous stuff imaginable and somehow, even when it seems he's losing, pulling yet another rabbit out of his hat.

Trump doesn't just get the appeal of transgressiveness — he is the ultimate transgressive. 'Grab 'em by the p•••y', 'I like people who weren't captured', 'Very fine people on both sides' — nothing takes Trump down. This mugshot won't either.

So this why we should vote for Trump? You have been great posting counter articles regarding the reasons to vote Trump. Now that you have added your comments with it, you have lost your creditability and reached.

Trump is a crap stirrer and a destroyer. For a person that has never served he disrespected those that did with a risk that every Soldier in battle faces. The Art of War is a Team sport, not individual.
He disrespected women in general with his bravado. He is the laughing stock of World Leaders, he disgrace the Presidency of the US and most importantly he tried to change the Constitution based on his desires vs doing it the right way.
There is always an Agenda with Trump, and it only serves Trump. Strong Leaders don't do that, only the weak do through fear and intimidation.

You've got it backwards. Foreign leaders respected Trump. They're laughing their asses off at the current regime and the state of our society, largely pushed by this regime.

With Trump there was more peace than we've seen in a long time, including Israel for the first time in recorded history. He was getting us out of Iraq without any loss of troops and I'm certain he wouldn't have abandoned US citizens along with billions of dollars of equipment like Biden did.

Trump had the respect of Putin, North Korea and the CCP. Biden is owned by the CCP.

The stock market was on fire, fueled by low energy costs. We had a net export on crude oil... now we buy it from people who hate us. Biden banned fracking and canceled the keystone pipeline by executive order on his first day. BTW, he criticized Trump up and down for the number of executive orders he signed and said he wouldn't do that. He signed more executive orders that Trump and Obama combined.

Trump had the southern border somewhat under control. Now it's maybe our biggest national security threat... at least up there.

Is Trump disrespectful to women? Maybe. Yes, he sent a lot of mean tweets. Is he a likable person? Not particularly. The guy is flawed. You know what? I don't care. I want someone in office that's not part of the establishment and gets ish done.
