You're either intentionally ducking the point or missing it completely.

No one is suggesting that electric vehicles won't be powered by fossil fuels for some time, it's profoundly myopic to believe that because it can't be done with a snap of the fingers it shouldn't be attempted at all.

Does 66% as opposed to 100% change the impact. Nope... it's a silly minor detail that people who can't defend out focus on.
