The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

Trump Prosecutor Nathan Wade steps out Armed With Handgun After Bombshell Fani Willis Affair Allegations — And Didn’t Deny Tryst

Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor leading the election interference case against Donald Trump in Georgia, did not deny having an affair with his boss, Fani Willis when he was spotted Thursday for the first time since the bombshell allegations came to light.

Wade, who appeared to be openly carrying a handgun, refused to respond — but also didn’t issue a denial — when asked by The Post if he had spent any of the $654,000 he had earned working on the Trump case to take Willis on lavish trips.

Willis is the Fulton County District Attorney who brought election interference charges against the former president and 18 co-defendants.

She hired Wade, her alleged secret lover and a private attorney with the Atlanta-based Wade & Campbell Firm, to oversee the case in late 2021.

The special prosecutor arrived at his law office outside Atlanta, Georiga in a silver Audi A8 L 4.2 Quattro — valued new at more than $100,000 — around 1.45 p.m. on Thursday.

Exhibit A on a get rich grift.

The old everybody else is doing it defense. Good luck with that.
Find me an instance of someone being charged with fraud when no lender claims to have been defrauded. When you bought your house did your bank just take your word on the value of said property or did they appraise it themselves? When you submitted your financials did they verify or just take your word for it?

First show me another real estate developer in NY who is doing this. The statement was "every single developer everywhere on earth is doing it". I don't know if that's true or not. He didn't give us any examples.

Besides saying everyone else is doing it is nothing less than an admission of guilt.

Find me an instance of the rest of us getting ****ed because lenders didn’t do enough to verify and mitigate risk.

Here’s a hint:

The lender is not the protected party, here. This is a bad argument that keeps getting repeated like we weren’t all alive in 2008. The law exists to protect the people whose money the bank holds and everybody else.

we got ****ed bc the government didn't allow the market to do its job.

You can persuade me that's it's not a political hit job when anyone can show someone besides Trump charged with this shat. When you have zero victim.

The government created the environment for Toxic assets to exist. Then want to point the figure at others. Fools they think we are. And people love to pile on the banks. They have their share of blame. The real problem was Freddie and Frannie. GW warned this shat was going to explode in a State of the Union. Ignored. Now idiots want to blame him for it. He called his shot.

Wouldn't protecting that money mean taking loans that make money which happened with Trump and these loans per the bank. So who was being protected S there was no default and only profit ms were made.

You missed the point: there is a legitimate state interest in protecting the public from the economic effects of improperly secured loans beyond just relying on the risk tolerance of lenders.

It would be asinine for the people of New York to simply rely on the risk tolerance of banks to protect them from that choice when relying on banks has already proven inadequate.

Saying “no lender lost money” is some Fox News Primetime nonsense, because the point of the law isn’t to protect the lender.

it's a bad law and is obviously only used in rare situations where its weaponized.

Were Trumps loans federally or state guaranteed/backed? If not you are twisting in the wind with this nonsense.

I never thought this case would go anywhere. I think a lot of people did as well. State level case and it appeared the Feds per se, Meh. Home team advantage New York.
Trump Lawyer's failures regarding requests for a jury trial. The list goes on and on.
Trump's case and miss steps, then the threats just added to him being convicted. Trump's world gets desperate and more missteps.
Trump can't keep his mouth shut and that is what cooks his goose in this case. I thought he would blow pass this with ease, but being the fighter and idiot he is, he did not.
Desperate people take Desperate Actions.

IOW, Shut the pie hole up and let the lawyers handle it. Trump is not going to win anything in NY because of his mouth. Trump gave the state the leverage to convict him regardless of his innocence or not.

I'm pretty sure I didn't say that. You do know who is guilty though don't you? Aw...come on you know.

This one might be guilty ...

Trump Pays Tribute to Melania's 'incredible' Late Mother and Calls New York Judge an 'animal' for Refusing To Delay E. Jean Carroll Trial So He Can Go To Her Funeral

Donald Trump paid tribute to his late mother-in-law Amalija Knavs and called a New York judge an 'animal' for refusing to delay the E. Jean Carroll defamation trial so he can go to her funeral.

The former president, 77, told one of his final campaign events before the Iowa caucuses Melania's mother was an 'incredible woman' with 'great beauty inside'.

The funeral is set to be in Florida on Wednesday, but Manhattan federal judge Lewis Kaplan refused to push back the trial a week.

BREAKING NEWS'You can't expect BLACK women to be perfect and save the world': Atlanta DA Fani Willis DEFENDS 'having an affair with colleague as they prosecuted Trump in election interference case'

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis appeared to defend accusations of having an alleged secret lover co-prosecutor as they oversee the Georgia case against former President Donald Trump.

Willis was accused in a stunning court filing by one of Trump's co-defendants of having an affair with Nathan Wade, who was paid more than $600,000 as a special prosecutor assisting her office.

The former president pointed to the allegations Tuesday and said it meant the Georgia prosecutor was 'totally compromised' and that the racketeering case against Trump and 18 codefendants 'has to be dropped.'

In an impassioned 35-minute speech at the Big Bethel AME Church in Atlanta Sunday, she did not directly refer to - and did not deny - the accusations but suggested that criticism of her was racist and sexist.

'You cannot expect black women to be perfect and save the world. We need to be allowed to stumble,' she said.

'They are going to be mad when I call them out on this nonsense,' Willis told the congregation. 'First thing they say, 'Oh, she's going to play the race card.' But … isn't it them playing the race card when they think I need someone in some other jurisdiction in some other state to tell me how to do a job I've been doing almost 30 years?'

Seems like this is a real grey area and almost in violation of the church’s tax exempt status by letting her speak.
