The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

So it’s them slinging their ding a lings? Lol.. maybe so

It appears to be women who are in mid life who need a thrill. They are in power positions. Since they are in charge they feel more like the decision maker on these encounters versus rejecting it if they were the employee with the boss being a male. It appears easier to hide.

I’ve been talking about the Uniparty on here for a long time. Who did you vote for in 2020?
Votes are personal, but when I came to the President's Selection I skipped it. I would not vote for either of them and will not vote for either of them. I don't like Biden nor Trump. I will not vote for either of them. They are both unqualified and unfit for the job. I skipped over both, because neither are good for Democracy. I would could see a Uniparty as well. I am a Centrist. Right now each side is controlled by the extremes of which the 60% in the middle could easily control the house and Senate, but strong arm tactics are working well for each side.
It is interesting that some of the Democrats will block an attempt to block a Mike Johnson removal if it occurs, Don't you think?

I vote so that I feel I can weigh in. At least show up and write in a vote for your pet.

When I see the Uniparty and the media attack Trump I can’t help but feel he is doing something right. The military industrial complex hated him for lack of wars. I think that is why the uniparty is united to defeat him. They don’t make any money if we aren’t in a war.

I agree and have done the write in vote thing in the past.
The war thing is always strategic. The numbers in our forces are down but the Military Industrial Complex will alway make money because of technology and development of new systems. We constantly have new equipment replacing old and it is a revolving door.
Getting into a war is a tricky part because you can spread yourself thin in resources Logistically and manpower if you engage in two separate events. It costs money and we go deeper in debt. Cheney made a fortune on both desert wars and the taxpayers paid the price for him to do so. This country also incurred a huge debt.
We made mistakes but we should have turned Afghanistan into a parking lot. Then, taken the issues to Saudi Arabia and the reason we did not is our dependence on oil. There is a mixed bag.
To your point, there is always new equipment in the mill for the military and it costs money to do so. The benefit is security. It advances all the time. We are not fighting a conventional war anymore because that would mean full time occupation of a country or turning it over to a country that cannot govern itself adequately or is totally corrupt.

Exclusive — MTG: Brian Kemp Opposes Criminally Investigating Fani Willis for Corruption

Republican Gov. Brian Kemp (GA) opposes launching a criminal probe into Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, instead preferring an oversight committee investigation that would slow-walk accountability, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) exclusively told Breitbart News.

Kemp and Georgia Attorney General Christopher Carr are seeking to use the state’s oversight committee to investigate Willis for her alleged improper relationship with a top prosecutor in their case against former President Donald Trump, according to Greene.

The committee operates like a disciplinary commission with the power to remove county prosecutors from public office. As with all committees, they move very slowly and often are highly political. The committee would not be ready for months to launch a probe, Greene said. Meanwhile, Greene added, Willis’s prosecution is drying up Trump and fellow codefendants’ resources.

Appeals court Rejects X Challenge to special counsel Secret Demand for Trump Twitter data

A federal appeals court on Tuesday denied X Corp.’s latest challenge to a nondisclosure order it received as part of special counsel Jack Smith’s search warrant for former President Donald Trump’s Twitter account.

Smith first served X, formerly known as Twitter, with a search warrant for Trump’s account data in January 2023, part of a criminal investigation into Trump’s attempt to overturn his 2020 election loss to President Joe Biden.

At the same time, Smith obtained a nondisclosure order barring X from disclosing the search warrant to Trump or anyone else.

In granting Smith’s request to keep the warrant a secret, a federal district court said it was reasonable to believe disclosure of the request would “result in destruction of or tampering with evidence, intimidation of potential witnesses, and serious jeopardy to the investigation.”

X initially refused to comply with the warrant, and the district court in Washington, D.C., held the company in contempt and fined it $350,000. X ultimately turned over the data Smith was seeking.

There’s a reason Twitter is actually fighting this. It’s because the scope of the warrant is so broad that Smith can open an investigation into anyone that ever liked any of Trump’s tweets. It’s incredibly dangerous.

Good luck ever finding a party to vote for....or even a candidate in the future.

J.D. Vance: Brian Kemp Must Step in and Stop Fani Willis

Republican Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance publicly called upon Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) to step in and stop Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis amid revelations that a prosecutor in the Trump indictment had previously been held in contempt of court.

“This is a joke. A discredited divorce attorney who happens to be sleeping with the DA is now running the Georgia prosecution of Donald Trump? I don’t care how much [Kemp] hates Trump. He needs to step in and do something,” asserted Vance on Twitter.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has filed a formal complaint with the offices of Kemp and Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr, pushing them to criminally probe Willis’s office on these matters. Greene told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview published late last week she expects the governor will have to act given the severity of the facts against Willis emerging now.

As Breitbart News reported, around the same time Wade had been preparing to indict the former president for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election in the Peach State, a judge in Cobb County, Georgia, ruled he had “willfully” failed to turn over documents about his income. Wade’s wife later said that the income included money he had made during his work on the Trump case.

Revelations about him being held in contempt of court come after a lawyer for one of the former president’s co-defendants alleged in a court filing that Wade had an affair with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Lmao. He really is a Divorce Lawyer.

Wade is himself a divorce lawyer — the website for his Atlanta law firm touts “decades of experience” handling divorce cases. He has little experience running complex, high-profile criminal prosecutions, and Willis’ decision to hire him as a “special prosecutor” in the Trump case has come under intense scrutiny in recent days.

It beats the hell out of wasting a vote on these two. There is no longer a Republican Party with a distinct identity and the Democrats are the "Entitled Party". There will be one in the future, but seriously no way can I vote for either one of these idiots. Thanks for your perception but really not needed. I am seeing today is that Trump wants to be the FOREVER President.. Hallmark card in the making. Biden doesn't even have enough sense to shut down the borders.

If border security is a big deal to you then 1 guy has a history of working on that.

Are you a middle aged female? Reason I ask is that demographic has been swayed against Trump heavily. Emotionally they can’t understand what makes him tick. And they have a dislike for him.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 You're so FOS

He's going too far. Even if he disagrees with the judge and the rulings, that is addressed by taking an appeal, not by defying the judge's procedural orders simply as to how to conduct oneself in Court. Some part of the base will rally around him yet again, but its going to get tiresome at some point, even for his supporters.

That's an easy one. Don't associate with a party and vote for the person. If you don't care for either candidate, don't vote in that particular race. I'm writing in my dog, Henry, if it's Trump vs. Biden. I'm holding out a ray that both parties will come to their senses in the next 6 months and get those the F out of there. Not likely. Also, not likely either would put up a worthy alternative.

Maybe. But many times I’m over the target. Sudden Impaction posts like a middle aged female.
Since you're a right wing, echo chamber dweller, I can see why you think that. Lots of white, middle aged male boomers have the same opinion of Trump. Pretty much the middle 50%

No. Are you old enough to vote? Or just a crap stirrer? Reason I ask is that you seem to have a total disregard of how a President should handle himself.

One that is not a liar, grifter, not mentally ill, racists that needs to learns how to hold his tongue, understands the system, one that needs to engage his brain before he engages his mouth. Trump needs to STFU. He would be the winner had he done so. One that boosts that he is the smartest person in the room when he is not. The wanna be dictator. The world of Bif.

Yet you criticize me for not supporting him, but you feel his character and well being is acceptable. Go for it. He ain't crap. As for Biden there is a lot of the same. Trump did nothing except for the fact that the fools that want him back in office thinks that he did everything.

It is an easy fix shut down the border and restrict any entry into the US like the Europeans do. This country right now is screwed up and to elect Biden for a 2nd term or Trump would be pushing this country off a cliff. Hope that answered your question.

It probably did not but keep on drinking that jimmy jones kool aide.

The ‘Sleeping Giant’ Case that Could Upend Jack Smith’s Prosecution of Trump

The Supreme Court has agreed to consider a case that doesn’t mention the former president, but that could invalidate half of the Jan. 6 charges against him.

There’s been a lot of attention paid to the Supreme Court’s upcoming decision on Donald Trump’s claim of immunity from prosecution for actions taken while president, a judgment that will have big implications for the 2024 presidential campaign and special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of the former president on charges related to Jan. 6. But there’s a sleeping giant of a case also percolating in the Supreme Court that’s even more likely than the immunity issue to impact Smith’s prosecution of Trump.

The case is Joseph W. Fischer v. United States, which the court agreed to hear in December, and which doesn’t explicitly mention Trump. At issue is whether prosecutors and the Department of Justice have been improperly using a 2002 law originally aimed at curbing financial crimes to prosecute a Jan. 6 defendant named Joseph Fischer. Should the court side with Fischer, it would also call into question the use of the law against other Jan. 6 defendants — including Trump.

Georgia Lawyer Writes in Daily Beast: ‘Why We Can’t Shrug Off the Fani Willis Scandal’

1705536867648.png

Georgia lawyer Andrew Fleischman on Tuesday published an opinion piece in the left-leaning Daily Beast that said Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis should resign if the allegations she took steps to benefit a special prosecutor and romantic partner are true.

Fleischman, a partner at Sessions & Fleischman, wrote in his piece, titled: “Why We Can’t Just Shrug Off the Fani Willis Scandal”:

If the DA prosecuting Trump prolonged an investigation to justify a hefty salary for a romantic partner, that is a genuine conflict of interest that would require her dismissal.

He wrote if the allegations that Willis — who is prosecuting former President Donald Trump in Fulton County — hired special prosecutor Nathan Wade — a man she was allegedly dating, and paid him nearly $700,000 and received vacations in return, she should be fired.
